voglio dire effettivamente le note sono 7 i giri armonici purtroppo non sono infiniti...le somiglianze ci sono e non tutti sono plagi... altrimenti tantissime canzoni sarebbero plagi. guarda ad esempio l'intro si sweet child o mine e happy hours gi ligabue... non dico che sia uguale ma crede che per i tuoi parametri quello possa essere considerato plagio....
guarda evita di fare video del genere che è decisamente meglio.

Pop music is predicated upon the target audience NOT being familiar with previous music. Green Day's success is entirely the result of singer's punk-like vocal inflection with a feminine quality. A band that attempted to commercialize the punk sound and predated Green Day was Material Issue--a band that was much more honest and much less a marketing product.

People constantly cover old songs and there's nothing weird about that so why would ripping old songs off be any different? And ripping off non-English songs/artists is very common, producer Timbaland seems to do it all the time. Just look around on YouTube and you'll find lots of examples.

@TheInitialAttack Boulevard of Broken Dreams is a shameless ripoff of Wonderwall indeed. If you raise Boulevard by 1 semitone, the guitar riff in the beginning is identical to what the cello plays in Wonderwall. And then there's of course the chord progression as you mentioned that's the same.

I am by no means a Green Day fan, but let's be real here. Whether it's Green Day, Coldplay, or someone else people like to demonize for "ripping someone off," artists do not have claims on melodies or keys. I don't care if someone did it 30 years prior...they wrote the song for the same reason: it was catchy. There are only so many melodies and keys...if we cried foul on every usage, we'd have no more music.

The last one wasn't even very close I should say. The telephone line was quite close though. I have to admit that at first glance the last one sounds similar, but actually they are quite different.

più che altro telephone line assomiglia a all the young dudes... io ho ascoltato tante volte all the young dudes, e non mi ha mai ricordato 21 guns, nemmeno adesso che me le metti a confronto.
come dicono gli altri le note sono 7, le canzoni sono simili solo per il ritmo e non per la musica. Poi complimenti dal video si capisce che conosci solo quelle 3-4 canzoni degli ultimi album, guardi tanto la musica ma non sai che nella musica dei green day i testi sono la parte più importante.
