People were loud in Royal Oak Michigan. That might be because Royal Oak Music Theatre is larger than this place in Madison. I also thought this was oddly quiet for a show in America, but that's not because "Americans are arseholes"; rather, it's a cultural expectation of acceptance of how art and music is perceived, especially at larger shows. Europe probably has a more cultured interpretation of art and music, while it's more entertainment for us here. (But note, not all of us!)
