I was in Athens at the time and never thought there could be another good Athens band after the B- 52s, then came Pylon, then Love Tractor and REM, then a bunch of other good bands.

Great song ! I first heard it in a great documentary on the Athens indie music scene of the 80’s.

And, I’m willing to bet that Kurt Cobain had been influenced by Pylon among other good bands to some degree…I can hear it in that particular song.

I lived in Atlanta in the 80's and some great music was coming out of that whole area. yeah that was a bad movie, but the movie Motherhood reminded me of this band. Good to hear it again.
