*spoiler*he got oathekeeper after xion died. he 'absorbed' her keyblade and since xion is technicly sora/kairi memories theres kairis charm on it.

ohh okay i knew he got the second keyblade from xion but i didnt understand how it became the oathkeeper because in re chain of memorys before he went to sleep to have his memories repared he pulled the charnm out and remembered kairi and i think that was the end of it. so thx that helps alot!!

Xion was just Sora's memories of Kairi, which he needed to awaken from his slumber.

Roxas got Oblivion (forgotten in latin) 'cuz he forgets about Xion, and Oathkeeper for making a promise to Xion that he would destroy Kingdom Hearts.

@110animegirl I was referring to the noise that sounds like a female sighing or some similar breath noise. I know that's Roxas and Xemnas. I have played the HK gamess. If one looks closely you can see an image of Kairi (from KH1, which looks a LOT like Xion(*coughcough*) Anywho, the image is on the screens at 1:34 , 2:00 - 2:03 , and when Riku hesitates to strike at Roxas at 2:08 - 2:10 in the video. Go play 358/2 days. Then you'll understand what I'm talking about.

This wasn't really supposed to be a trailer for anything. Just showing off concepts for potential further stories in the KH verse.

This video proved so popular however that they actually went and fit parts of it into KH 2 and later Days basically had the entire scene added in. But at the time this was made Days wasn't even part of the plan. Days was an extra game made on request from Nintendo for a DS KH game.

Yeah something they changed for the final version. Note that its also incorrectly colored. Roxas is holding the Kingdom Key D while Mickey has a regular colored Kingdom Key.

That's because (unknown to him at the time) Riku was the original choice for the Keyblade of the Realm of Light. But when he embraced darkness, Sora inherited it.

Riku is what Sora always wanted to be. He represents the power and confidence Sora always lacked, but obtains over time after his acquisition of the keyblade.

To counter his desire for power there's Kairi. The physical embodyment of Sora's goodness.

You could say that Sora is the compromise of the two, and so removing one would throw them off balance. Because Riku and Kairi aren't bonded close enough to stay together without Sora. While Sora is bonded so tightly with each of them, once seperated from one, reunion becomes the dominant need in his mind.

The creators made this while ideas were still fresh and the story wasn't completete. Once KH II came they changed things. And in 358/2 days you'll learn the real reason Roxas can synch keyblades(dual keyblades).

Call me whatever you like, but I squee with fanboy enthusiasm at Mickey doing the Yoda entrance at the end of the video. I mean, Kingdom Hearts is the only thing that managed to turn a character intended to be cute and appealing to kids into a certified badass without playing it for laughs AND STILL MAKING IT WORK. I dare say that Mickey was one of the best characters in II and that the possibility to play as him is one of the higher points of the game.

Actually its not Organization XIII. The song in the vid is called Another Side.Organization XIII is different, it doesn't have the dramatic ending or the slow beginning.

You can tell this video was directed by Nomura himself, can't you? It reminds me of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and the triler for Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Dunno, perhaps it's just me, but I believe he's learned to give action scenes a distinct feel, just like it has with his work as a character designer.
