Man its ridiculous...I play as a small forward, so I can't run plays myself the computer has to. Any way to play better defense. I play my guy and double team if needed. But.. they pick and roll with every person on their team then get the wide open 3 and sink it 90% of the time... even with players I've never even heard of before. @drejackson1000 use lockdown paint option it works for almost any team,and if the player is getting past you use turbo to stay with him while in defensive stance

At one point I decided to see who is the real bad team here. I chose no sides and just let Raptors face the Golden States without me controlling. The first quarter Raptors literally swept Golden State. And as soon as I jump in and decide to control the Raptors all hell went loose!
@MrNeyus On top of that I've even simulated the game and Raptors wins by 25+pts. I've reload the game and simulated again to see and BOOM Raptors killed Golden States again by a big margin.

On transition, he runs at 130 mph and I put my defence at 1-3-1, so he can't penetrate, and I made it " Lock down the point." I give up on My Player. I really tried to stick it out but its too damn difficult. My teammates are fucking stupid, the animations screws you up, and even when I have perfect release I miss my shots while I'm uncontested. I don't mind a challenge but they need to lighten up on the bullshit on this game.

This strategy actually works. I just used constant pressure with the full ct press and I forced a lot of turnovers. I got my opponent online frustrated and made him quit. Score was 38-28 in the 4th.
I fucking hate 2K12's upgrade of Lebron. I swear, my record is 26-3 atm. And I was 26-2. I was low key teams because I actually know how to play, not abuse superstardom. So I was using Phoenix, this fucking kid seriously dunked over 4 of my players when I was double teaming Lebron. And whenever its transition, lebron literally runs at 130 mph and dunks it even if I have my center contesting his dunk. He;s so overrated in the game, was tied and the dude abuses lebron and goes up by 13 fucking sad
@lmaostrnoob I have been there before. same situation but using Cleveland. My opponent and I were tied until the beginning of the 4th. I made the mistake of going 1-3-1 and Lebron just splits it and dunks. It was close until I lost by 8.
@MrPurple0 you still could for a more specialized defensive plan. like in the last few seconds of a tight game, you could set the D based on how you predict the opponent might play.

This strategy actually works. I just used constant pressure with the full ct press and I forced a lot of turnovers. I got my opponent online frustrated and made him quit. Score was 38-28 in the 4th.

I fucking hate 2K12's upgrade of Lebron. I swear, my record is 26-3 atm. And I was 26-2. I was low key teams because I actually know how to play, not abuse superstardom. So I was using Phoenix, this fucking kid seriously dunked over 4 of my players when I was double teaming Lebron. And whenever its transition, lebron literally runs at 130 mph and dunks it even if I have my center contesting his dunk. He;s so overrated in the game, was tied and the dude abuses lebron and goes up by 13 fucking sad

@lmaostrnoob I have been there before. same situation but using Cleveland. My opponent and I were tied until the beginning of the 4th. I made the mistake of going 1-3-1 and Lebron just splits it and dunks. It was close until I lost by 8.

You don't need coach settings if you use the d-pad, I haven't used or change my coach settings once and im fine.

@MrPurple0 you still could for a more specialized defensive plan. like in the last few seconds of a tight game, you could set the D based on how you predict the opponent might play.

DONT DO THE D-PAD ... IT CHANGES YOUR COACH PROFILES AND OR YOUR DEFFENSIVE SETTINGS ( DENY BALL ; PLAY TIGHT ; OFF-BALL ETC ETC ) IT FUCKS UP EVERYTHING ... JUST SAYING O_o

@ValentineNICEEE If someone plays on ball or off ball defense on me dosent matter, 2k is about making adjustments and adjusting to what your opponent is doing.

@ValentineNICEEE ok let me break it down, you sound like a striaght up player, regardless what video I make or dnt make, your gonna run into people that play on ball d and peopl,e that dnt, this sort of video was really just to help those struggling with defense, I alwyas play on ball but I know people who have trouble playing this game so they are gonna have to play off ball, its not like you still cant expose them if they are playion "focus on stars" and playin on bogans, there are plenty of

@ValentineNICEEE of things you can do, and its not the ultimate defense either, trust me, a good player will never lose to someone playing cheap but it can be frustrating, I hear what your saying but the focus on stars will completey take you out ur game, theres still gonna be skill required to win the game. but this sounds like a good next video "on ball and off ball defense in nba 2k12 lol
