  • If you have a top loading washer, stay close. My gi throws my machine out of whack.

  • After pouring in the detergent, you can put the detergent cup in the washing machine, along with your gi. That way you don't waste any soap, and you can clean the cup at the same time. People say don't put your gi in the dryer because it will weaken it. While this may be true, I prefer the comfort of wearing a gi that has been in the dryer - it's a bit softer than when you drip dry it. I always throw my kid's in the dryer, and, after two years, it's still in great shape.

  • Does anybody ever iron the gi? Or would that be bad?

  • just one question, why do you turn your gi inside out?

  • @xymaster19 probly so that it wont loose any colour or something like that

  • @ninjadude126 hmm maybe im thinking so your patches dont get messed up in the wash

  • @xymaster19 Turning your BJJ Gi inside out during wash protects the patches from being damaged or coming off.

  • @xymaster19 wouldnt be surprising ....
