No, the pedal runs off two different cables, one for the synth and the other is regular. The pedal comes with a device (and a pickup) you attach to the guitar and it gives you a toggle switch with 3 options. 1, synth, 2. synth and guitar 3. guitar.

There is a delay onboard. You can change the delay in a patch, but the range of the delay is not very wide. If you want crazy/long delay, you will need a additional delay-pedal.

It uses double sided tape, or - if you have a tune-o-matic bridge, like on Gibson guitars, there is an adaptor that attaches the pick up to the bridge. No damage to your guitar at all - Go get one!

It basically means the unit has a midi sound bank, but if you think your keyboards soundbank is better/has more sounds, you can use them.

yea u need the pickup i went to same ash the other day to buy one and the guy said u need the pickup in order for it to work so yea with the pickup it costed me about 695$ bucks but worth the money i think

the pickup can attatch just behind all of the other frets between the rear and where the strings thread through so no need to replace unless you want to
