fuck free health care. i live in canada and i broke my ribs yesterday and i had to wait in the emergency room for about 6 hours before i could get checked out. free health care is for the poor people who cant afford healthcare like the states has.

@XxMeepChanxX Yes, free healthcare would raise taxes. However, paying higher taxes for healthcare would help us when we get older. When we get old, can't work anymore, and our heath gets bad. With free healthcare, we wouldn't be spending all of our social security money on medical bills. We would have payed for it in all of our working life. Health insurance also wouldn't exist. It is easier to pay for it in small amounts throughout our lives than paying for it all at once when we get older.
@hopperms There are only two options in this scenario. 1 you pay for your healthcare and get to choose the quality and quantity, 2 you are forced to pay for healthcare and don't get to choose quality or quantity. This leaves poor people who would rather pay for food over healthcare with no option other than starving to death, a condition often found in socialist countries.

@XxMeepChanxX Yes, free healthcare would raise taxes. However, paying higher taxes for healthcare would help us when we get older. When we get old, can't work anymore, and our heath gets bad. With free healthcare, we wouldn't be spending all of our social security money on medical bills. We would have payed for it in all of our working life. Health insurance also wouldn't exist. It is easier to pay for it in small amounts throughout our lives than paying for it all at once when we get older.

@hopperms There are only two options in this scenario. 1 you pay for your healthcare and get to choose the quality and quantity, 2 you are forced to pay for healthcare and don't get to choose quality or quantity. This leaves poor people who would rather pay for food over healthcare with no option other than starving to death, a condition often found in socialist countries.

And the thing is YOU and me and everyone else will be paying for health care by tax. It will be worse quality, too. Compare the post office to UPS, compare public schools to private ones. The government will do WORSE than it's business counterpart, and we will all pay much higher taxes for it.

Iraq is a case in point. They INSTALLED Saddam and got rid of him when he wanted to sell oil not just in dollars. And how Henry Kissinger tied the dollar to oil using shady contracts where OPEC countries HAVE to purchase part of US debt as part of the contract.
