i still love brutes put the heavy outlander against the 2012 brute and we have a competition and dont forget its a 1000cc against a 750cc so no hating.
As for drag racing goes, mainly long ones like this i would put my money on the can am 1000 as well, but for a utility 4x4 with racks you can't deny the brute holds quite well for being down 250cc and utility vs sport 4x4. Personally I would still get the brute, much better all around quad, and If all I wanted was to drag with it, you build it for it, drop some weight and with the engine kits for the brute they can be built to be unbeatable, if you wanna spend the cash that is lol.
@bferrel2 My stock 800 Renegade tops out at 76mph. When the 1000's came out I spoke with my dealer and he said only about 3mph differance on top speed but the 1000 will eat the 800 out of the hole and mid range. That's if it hooks up though! LOL!
If the 750 had my stage 3 clutch he would not have been running that close to the limiter at 70 mph and topped out at 76-78 mph fast as it'll go is 72 and it hits the rev limiter with a stock clutch.
Thumbs up if you think he should have just mounted the camera to the rear bumper ;)

Mainly because I don't own an 800 outlander, but I have raced one with the 12' brute force, with equal mods the brute is faster.

I realize it's a 1000 vs 750 but it's also modified vs stock the muzzy duals and fuel controller add 12 rwhp, stock to stock there's no comparison

There would be no quickly lose, except for maybe the 1000. You better do some work to it to beat me.

XxEzkiLLer26xX 2 months ago
Not impressed with either. Neither bike seemed to launch worth of shit.. My Renegade 800 would outlaunch both
