The birds will be a serious problem if their much gets on your tracks and locos, but think yourself lucky...I had wasps to contend with in my loft before I started on my railway! Good vid!
A bird who got in my loft some years ago would have died there if I hadn't gone up there. I climbed in and managed to scare it down out of the trap door. Then I came out and closed the trap door. Then I opened a window so it flew out. It was tired & weak so hope it recovered.
i used to have my layout in the spare room till a bird came in and shat all over so i just riped it down and re built a new one lol

Now its gone I suggest you get the hole in the fascia mended, which is the way it probably got in!

Oh dear, well he must have got in somewhere, find this location and drive him towards it.
Or use a net or sheet to trap him!
Just hold the sheet in front of you and advance on him, he will soon fly towards and you can gently cover him and take him out.

probably wants a train ride.....throw a towel over it its the best way to catch them without damaging there wings..or a big net from a fish pond

Trap it some how. My be get one of them live animal traps from B&Q & but some bird food in it.That may do it.Cheers.
