  • Hope nash continues with basketball until he has a ring on his finger. I don't wanna see one of the best playmakers ever lived not get a ring cause he DESERVES it.

  • He has by far the highest basketball IQ in the NBA

  • fuck philly nigga aint dancin with nash

  • lol, coincidence or not, but i did exactly the same with Steve on NBA 2k11, i mean i got 20pts and 20 assists, lawl

  • @rayshuttlesworth Yea, he thought that it was for active players despite the fact that the board had players from the 60's on it. Start again? I've already won. Hollinger's article is on espn insider, so unless you pay for that you can't see the exact article, and youtube won't let me put url's in the comment section so google it.

  • @rayshuttlesworth Charles Barkley? Really? Barkley, although he can be right sometimes, says some of the dumbest shit ever. His number one pick for his dream basketball team was ALLEN IVERSON. You're throwing this shit out because you know you're wrong. Nash has had more 50/40/90 seasons than anyone. John Hollinger and many other analysts say Nash is THE BEST shooter of all time, and Nash creates ALL of his own shots. You are a dunce.

  • @rayshuttlesworth You're clearly an ignorant teenager, but I'll reply to you anyway. PG's are the smallest players on the team, they simply don't have the size to be effective shot blockers or clog lanes, this is basic fundamentals. Did you really bring up Chris Paul? You really have no idea what you're talking about. You haven't seen Nash play much have you? Nash is the best shooter in the nba EVER, Nash is the best passer in the nba EVER.

  • @rayshuttlesworth Nash IS the best offensive point guard ever to play the game, no doubt about it. Defensively...not so much, but who the fuck cares about a pg's defense anyway?

  • NASH best POINT GUARD to ever played this game. He had just bad fortune not winning any rings. I MEAN HIS COURT VISION, HIS DECEPTION, HIS SHOOTING, HIS PENETRATION & His Slick HAIR STYLE. 8)))) he's so NASHty

  • Dont hate on me because Nash is quiet underrated but Nash always had good teammates every year

  • Ugh I remember a few years ago nash was shooting 50% from everywhere and upper 90% from the FT averaging a double double. The dudes a beast

  • No rings so he sucks right? lol @ morons who know nothing about basketball.

  • double of double-double

  • this is what i call a double double double

  • I hate miami but I feel personally he should play for them to be a champ

  • @newshanewsha1 the heat aren´t champs

  • wish some ball hogs could actually watch him... instead they focus on lebron and kobe. nash is one of my favorite cuz he actually passes the ball around and he looks for an open pass before he shoots.he is a real inspiration for me and watching him has made me a better PG.

  • nash inspired me... we are the same... we are not that athletic........ but they say im like nash because of my shooting form and my passing!nash made me love basketball! i really love nash! who says nash has no rings???/ well he has 2 personal rings! 2 MVP's!!!! NASH YOUR THE BEST

  • nash got me into passing around instead of trying to do it myself...he made me into a better baller :D

  • Nash made me a better baller

  • @TheShnag Do your math again

  • @royalfrenchfrie24 20 points + 20 assists x 2 points per assist = 60 points (at least)

  • @TheShnag yeah at least but there were threes in the highlight

  • NASHTY!!!!

  • He is soooooooooooooo focused!!! *__*

  • he is a beast

  • how the hell is he still this good at 36??? he never seems to slow down with age

  • Comment removed

  • lol he is not 6'3

  • @dp082000 Yeah he is. I thought he was like 6'1 but I looked at a few of his basketball cards that I have and he actually is 6'3.

  • @dp082000 he issss....hahaha or was at one point...(you shrink with age) hahha(;

  • #VIDEOPOSTERID#, every so often I make myself to remember just what it was like before I could possibly dunk the ball. Soon after I made use of the training system at | 50 inch vertical [dot] com | - my skills has been improving alot I'm not a bench player anymore!

Steve Nash Goes for 20 and 20

  • 20 and 20 WOW he contributed about 60 points AMAZING

  • All due respect but w/ Magic you really had to see him play to appreciate him. Forget the numbers. He had Kareem and James Worthy to feed for much of his career so his scoring isn't as high and he was a true PG that looked to ohters first. But don't get it twisted he could score also and if you go back and look at Game 6 in 80 against the 76ers you'll see what I mean.

    It's posted here somewhere.

  • I'd like to see Nash go to a better team. maybe somewhere like Philadelphia. That's near Canada. Phoenix just doesn't have what it takes right now and I don't think they will for some time.

  • better team, philadelpia? haha, you're joking

  • haha, seriously? Philadelphia a better team than Phoenix? yeah, thats why the 76ers are out of the playoffs and the Suns are in the 5th seed right now right?? wow

  • @blacktopaz8 wow philadelphia you must be retarded if you think that 76ers are better then the suns suns got what it takes if the fucking refs don't fuck them over like always in the playoffs

  • @blacktopaz8 first of all, philadelphia is nowhere hear canada, second, phoenix is around 150 times better team than philly. 3rd you're an idiot.

  • As for Nash being in Canada, thats def a disadvantage because scouts don't look up here. He had to really campaign and still nobody wanted him. He got 1 offer by 1 Div 2 school, and even that was a fluke. Probably today it's easier but back then he had to be amazing to get a chance.

  • go fuck yourself

  • As for Nash, the reality is that he's this tiny little white guy from nowhere who looks like the waterboy but dominates and people can't take their eyes off him. He had no advantages growing up, had to work harder than anyone to get there and for that he'll always be the best to most, fuck rings, stats or whatever.

  • @KennedyCorey I'm not going to say he worked harder than everybody else! And he's not as tiny as you make it sound. He's bigger than Tony Parker, AI, CP3, Brandon Jennings, and several other notables.

Plus, most of the guys in the league had no advantages. Actually, growing up in Canada might have been a benefit bcuz he had an opportunity to develop in a much more wholesome environment than some other guys did growing up in the hood

  • Your right, Nash is the same size as those guys but i dont think he was born with the same speed or jumping ability. Still, all those guys had to bust their asses to get in. Really what i meant to say was that little guys have to work alot harder than big guys to get there.

  • @KennedyCorey i agree , and thats why i like point gaurds and some shooting gaurds like allen iverson better than big ppl like lebron because to me there size and strength just shadows over there skill . like being that small really is an disadvandtage..allen iverson is 5'11

  • @readmore2008 yea ur rite bout that too, hes 6'3 ,thats an inch smaller than dwyane wade

  • @KennedyCorey TIny? you know he is over 6ft tall... last time i checked that is way above the average height in U.S and in Canada.

  • @SaviorTOP ....yeah, your right, Nash is tall for the general population but in the NBA he's little. Most of the time he's the shortest and skinniest guy on the floor. Remember there are lots of forwards in the League that are 6'10-7 feet. To those guys he is tiny.

  • @SaviorTOP

He is 6'3" and that is small compared to MOST of the NBA players. There are only a handful shorter than that.

  • @KennedyCorey And hes Canadian

  • @KennedyCorey actually his stats are pretty damn good

  • @KennedyCorey woahhhh he for sure is gonna be a hall of famer bt the best to most????????

  • @KennedyCorey Idk But I Love You, Nohomo. Lol. I STRONGLY Agree With That.

  • @KennedyCorey

I love how 6'1 without shoes on is "tiny".

  • @KennedyCorey you're wrong. he has something no other black american athletic talented player in the nba has: a brain. and guess what... he uses it.

  • @GamwKaiDernw Is that really necessary ?

  • @richkid2311 in the nba no

  • @KennedyCorey 6'3 180lbs ain't that tiny even for nba

  • The ring arguement is such BS when determining an individuals greateness because the single biggest factor in winning a ring is MANAGEMENT. If they wont or cant build a well balanced team and or won't allow 4 or 5 yrs to gel NO STAR IN ThE WORLD can will a title. Young Jordan couldn't even come close, and he was the best invid EVER.

  • omfg so dizzy

  • i mean yes magic played the positon and pass like a point guard but if heplayed in the nba today he would be too tall. just like lebron plays small forward and thats what magic would play now .

  • @ryanr20091 That's nuts! Magic would be a PG now as well! How old are you?? Did you eve see Magic play in his prime? I don't mean highlights - I mean a whole game. Dude was ridiculous! And he has pure PG skills, forget the 6'9' part.

If you saw him play then you should already know. A young Magic would be the best PG in the league right now. That's not knocking today's crop just saying that he was THAT good!!

  • @readmore2008 ive nevr thought magic was that gud , of course he mad the hall of fame but in todays time people are putting the same numbers as him but better . the best players to play in this league are the prolific scores like kobe .

  • They are benched in Game 6 so they can't close it out at home. My point is that just as easily as all these things occurred if things had broken the other way then Nash might be a champ now.

But to get to where they did with no Amare and many people doubting they'd even make the playoffs is a tremendous accomplishment. And it was a championship caliber effort.

I do think CP3 is better though when healthy and he is on his game because he's so dynamic but 11/12 years younger so he should be!!

  • I disagree bcuz so much invlved requirs luck. I'll give you a rundown of the bad luck Nash has had on the way the a championship. These may not be in chronological seqnce but follow. Joe Johnson is creating matchup nightmares but then gets poked in the eye and has to miss key action.

The Suns don't re-sign Joe Johnson over salary concerns. Amare misses a whole season so they play Diaw at center and beat the Lakers. They beat the Spurs in SA in a Game 5 but Amare and Diaw are benched

  • Of course, CB is a solid player and usually shows up big in the clutch. He's a much better defender than Nash is and can abuse smaller guards on the post ups but he's not the facilitator that Nash is. I would love to have CB on my team any time but it won't be as dynamic a style as with Nash.

Also, a guy posted about MVP trophies and feel me on this - every yr somebody else or several somebody else's could win. DWade or 24 could have won last year but LBJ won it and that's cool.

  • All of the traits you just said are basically STEVE NASH. "you always have faith and courage your team will always win. and thats what you want" - pretty sure that smells Steve Nash all over. 20 assists wont always win ? Phoenix 10-2. Number in the West and Tied in League.

  • steve nash will going to show you his 3rd mvp trophy this season! Check that out!

  • All I know is Tony Parker owns Steve Nash. Owns his ass. Been owning his ass for 6 years now. Who cares about CP3 or John Stockton. You know what CP3, John Stockton, and Steve Nash have in common??? All have as many rings as I do......and you!!! Nash would trade every 20pt 20 ast game he's ever had for 1 championship.

  • PAUL IS A BETTER PLAYER...NASH IS A BETTER PLAYMAKER...I prefer Nash...

  • Nash is the best PG in the NBA.

  • laughable....

  • WHAT!?! Lemme guess your going to say those wannabe ballers like CP3 or Deron Williams is better right, don't even mention Rondo ok, Steve is 10x better than them he has his 2 MVP awards to prove it.

  • I never said they were "better" than Nash. They all get lumped into the same category. Except Rondo...he has a ring. And we all know Nash "stole" them 2 MVPs from Kobe. No way in hell did he deserve them. Is that all Nash can brag on...he's got 2 REGULAR season MVPs?? Not like they're 2 FINALS MVPs. Nash is a great PG. He still needs a ring though to be one of the greatest of all-time.

  • You don't need a ring to be great - that's ridiculous!! John Stockton never won a ring and he was incredible. Nash is tremendous and when you adjust for his age it's really unprecedented. There has never been a PG other than maybe Stockton who has had this much left in the tank at his age.

But there are so many haters out there that can't stand that he's slaying dudes on the nightly. Personally, I think a healthy CP3 is more dangerous and of course Deron and Tony P bring it but don't hate Nash.

  • Never did I say that Nash sucks. All I said was, you cannot be the best pg of all-time (which is what someone on here wrote) without a ring...it's impossible. And Magic Johnson is the best pg of all-time...it's not debatable.

  • yes well john stockton never had a ring damn it enough of the ring talk who else could do what he is doing at this age . shit he will be playing until he is 50 at this rate he wont slow down . 20 11 every night top that . and yes magic is the best point forward really magic could play it all because of his height. so, i think its unfair to say he is the best point guard of all time he was too tall . he wasnt a normal point guard . come 6'9 really thats to tall look it up he was point forward

  • Enough with the ring talk??? WELL WIN ONE!!! Then I'll never say it again...

  • Nash is 6'3 180pounds hes one of the fittest nba players especially for his age at 35.. go nash mvp 2010.

  • and difference is paul is young, he has the Ball almost all the time while Nash pass when he needs to, shoots when he needs to and pass to a teammate so that teammate can pass to the other guy, "the hockey assist" thats why he has less stats.

  • when nash had the 2 mvp's his time of posession was through the roof. think about it. in an accelerated offense nash hasn't even avg the stats cp3 does in a Decelerated one... sad isn't it?

  • haha, Nash had can have more assist than paul , You see the system that they run in new orleans?? Byron Scott admitted that they dont run any system! He surrounded Paul with outside shooters so that Paul can decide for the team thats why he can get those stats

  • Nasty

  • Nashty

  • Nash is a better scorer and passer, but he's not half the defender or half the athlete. Also, that CP3 can be compared with Nash at all shows that CP3 will likely be way better than the 04-06 Nash once he hits his prime. I love both players, and if I had to build a team around one, I'd take Paul. I do like Nash better. Not as angry, and more of a finesse player, I think.

  • hes angry and motivated, thats why hes efficient and always focused thats why hes a 50 40 90 guy. But you cant compare cp3 to Nash because Nash is already 35! Nash has a lot of records in the nba and id still take him over cp3 but if cp3 can maintain his game for 2 or 3 more years..

  • ... lol cp3 has been avg 20-10-3 for what 2 years now... and is avg 26-9 (almost 10 if not for his crappy teammates) now... thats 2-3 years. try again.

  • awesome

  • cp3 is overrated simple as that...

  • until paul is old then look at what he has done then you can compare the two . but at this stage paul dosent have the legendary status

  • and like i said nash could put the same numbers because he a better shooter and passer . but maybe you need to realize it like trying to compare kobe verse jordan at the end of his era . you have to respect those who come before you . 3 seasons aint shit dude . all you have is that he scores more because he is taking all of the shots duh . so anyway stick with willams and paul . because nash is the legend and in a class with kidd magic john and the greats . wait until paul is old to make this

  • you will always lose putting chris and nash againt each other because of nash years and dominance . nash is king paul isnt there yet

  • lol this is ridiculous. lets go back to cp3's breakout season @ 22 years old. what did he do to the suns? remember what he did? SWEEP THE SEASON SERIES? go for 40-20 in a couple of those games? maybe you nash lovers would have got the hint there... but i guess not. face it. cp3>nash you're just too crazy to admit it. nash is NOT the best pg right now NO ONE EXCEPT FOR DUMB SUNS FANS SAY THAT. lol how is a 4 year player that has had 2 better seasons than nash ever has a newcomer?

  • okay again your impossible throwing out numbers the comparison is impossible because you are going lose eveytime pal . dont you get that paul isnt a legend yet come on how dense can you get . nash resume is impeccable including what he is doing now . maybe when paul is about atthis age we will see how good he is then. you have to compare paul with willams not nash dude im laughing haaaaa . because it stupid and moronic at this early stage in pauls career . nash is established already

  • nash spent a lot of years under Coach Nelie in Dallas and we all Know Nelie likes to have different line ups, thats why got limited stats but still became an all star, COACH NELIE SAID THAT IF NASH WERE ON A DIFFERENT TEAM HED LEAGUE IN ASSIST AND WHEN HE RETURNED TO PHOENIX GUESS WHAT, HE DID.Try making paul play under Nelie and your comparing a young athletic guard to a 35 Year Old????? haha Nash>Cp3, wheres cp3 now??? Nash led a SUNS team WITH DIAW AS A CENTER to the CONFERENCE FINALS.

  • ... paul would kill cats on a team with Nellie on board. maybe you haven't realised fool. Nellie is SOFT on guards and HARD ON BIG MEN!!!! Nash was an ALL STAR under nellie dumbass. and he had DIRK NOWITZKI which doesn't hurt neither. where's cp3 now? well he is injured at the moment but is avg much better #s ALL AROUND THIS YEAR than nash is and has been for 2 years now. nash lead a suns team with diaw as centre? who cares? cp3 almost made CRAPPY CHANDLER a GODDAM ALL STAR... dumbass.

  • So why cant they win with Okafor?? Nash led a team to the playoffs with an injured Amare and Joe Johnson. You see, Cp3 is better defensively, but passing?? and scoring wise id take Nash, Cp3 tries to win games by hes scoring while Nash tries it by involving others, You think hed cant score as much as Cp3??? He shoots 50 40 90 so9 you cant argue that he cant score as much.

  • And Nash actually win games, phoenix suns have a lot of changes this couple of years but one thing that doesnt change, Old or not OLD he is the consistent player on this team, the engine that makes this team win,

  • And Paul gets a lot of assist from basic passes, he just pass to the open shooter, Nash has more creative and much harder passes. So whos on the race for MVP now?? your just a bitter CP3 fan.

  • ps everything you are saying is irelevant because like i said it takes year to become what nash is dude the best pg now . paul and nash come from two different eras so it really is stupid to compare them anyway . never compare a newcomer to a legend thats that . case closed respect legends

  • cp3 carrer is not legit yet he could easily fall off nash is already legit . good players are remeber but legends never die which is why paul cant be consider a legend yet . he hasnt done enough yet dude we have to watch what happens

  • @ryanr20091 lol how is cp3 not legit? he avg 20-10-3 and 22-12-3 the last 2 seasons and is avg what 26-9 this year? again lets put it this way. cp3 has already had 2 better years statistically than nash ever has. he already has the steals record and he is 23 yrs old... the only thing nash has over cp3 is 2 mvp's (one which should have been kobe's and if not for the rape case would have been). thats it. nash has no rings despite playing with marion an all star and stat.

  • blah blah your annoying and trying to twist and flip words around dude . chris is puttinup good numbers but you have to realize he is still a rook compared to nash . legend let me reapeat paul is a newcomer he only has put up numbers . but what good is it when your team stinks that what i mean . look up nash numbers in assist now at the age of 35 isd far more impressive then what cp is doing now . he has plenty of time to become what nash already is a legend . i never jumped the gun on anyone

  • @ryanr20091 all nash has on cp3 is 2 mvp's as i said before. thats it. cp3 has ALREADY broken any season record nash has ever had.

  • finally nash is a legend paul is sill a newcomer and dosent make everyone as good like nash does . plus paul playoffs record isnt as as hot he needs to start winning and doing all of the scoring . your pg isnt suppose to be doing all of the scoring .he needs to relegate his role like nash does that makes nash better overalll

  • @ryanr20091 LMAO WHAT???? Nash was the first option when AMARE was injured remember? lol c-mon. as i said before, cp3's role relegates with the talent (or lack there of) on his team. and btw, paul brought the spurs to game 7 if you didnt know... and almost won it... phx always had a EXCUSE for losing to the spurs every year. again you call paul a newcomer which is why its extraordinary that paul had a better statistical year than any year nash had in his 3rd year...

  • no ther is jason shaq was hill there is more taleny around him anyway its not a abut points fuck the semifinals we did make it to the west finals but got screwed with amare out ttc ..nash broken nose . anyway ancient history you know that ring was ours . you know i like paul but his is stilll new nash is the legend . paul has to prove hiself not just with stats its about making your players better . like i said nas is the assist king come on everyone know this .

  • @ryanr20091 what? lol cp3 doesn't make people better? lmao because of him TYSON CHANDLER was almost an ALL STAR in the WESTERN CONFERENCE... he is responsible for 30% of the growth of david west... an ALL STAR... yet you say he doesn't make people better? lets put this in perspective. cp3 at 22 years old had the best year in terms of efficiency than ANY GUARD IN THE LEAGUE TODAY. it was only comparable to MIKE JORDAN @ 27-31 in terms of eff.

  • its all about assist and nash averages more now because shaq is gone

  • getting anash and stoudemire jersey 4 xmas

    ! o yea!

  • Last night he was insane as well 12points and 10assists in only 22minutes.... hes gonna challenge for MVP i sure hope he gets it cuz he deserved it 3 times.

  • Nash is sooo under-rated. he's a lot better than people say he is. i mean seriously he takes a shot from anywhere and it goes in

  • @Drazgoosh how is a 2 time mvp underrated? lmao. fact is he can shoot great from anywhere on the court, best passer in the league, great offensive player and pg. defense is a different story altogether. go figure that nash is torched by every and any pg in the league.

  • started watching nba last season or something?

  • Best point guard on the planet, noone else even comes close.

  • micheal jordan

  • was a shooting guard.

  • your a shooting guard

  • You're*

  • You're a gigantic homsexual

  • There you go. Congratulations on fixing your grammar; however, you are still a retard.

You thought Michael Jordan was a point guard.

    lol fail.

  • yo micheal jackson was the best point guard ever

  • totally.

  • actually yea you're right, if by point guard you mean diddled little boys.

  • steve nash is a crazy basketball robot

  • Best play maker!

  • yea. good luck.

  • harry go to hell u racist

  • pure SEXINESS

nash is my favourite NBA PLAYAAAAAH

  • nash is 6'3.

  • i live beside steve nash' parents lawlalwlaw

  • 20 and 20, like anyone who isnt a yank knows the the hell that means

  • 20 rebounds and 20 assist,and I'm from Canada,but yeah..! most people don't know what 20 and 20 means outside U.S

  • lol i mean points

  • thanx buddy. thats what i thought

  • 20 points, not 20 rebounds, idiot

  • yes lol his head is in the GAME

  • how old is he? he looks like mid 30's but plays like a 3rd year NBA player

  • 37 i think

  • mvp, from victoria, bc, canada!!!!!!!!

  • BEASTLY.

  • A little less turnovers would help his MVP numbers

  • mvp mvp mvp

  • ma boys only lost by 4 though shoulda won dat game wuz up by like 15. Nash did have a great game though

  • MVP numbers!!!

    EH ???

  • alisha

  • MVP!

  • me dan buenas sensaciones los suns de esta temporada

  • nash and kobe will be compete with mvp race and no lebron due to crappy team record with shaq lol.

  • nash back to his MVP form, hope he wins MVP!!!!

  • hes really hot atm this season. suns looking good for playoffs

  • representin canada atta boi

  • And the best part...he's Canadian!

  • With Shaq gone, now they can have their run and gun offense again. 6-1 is not a bad start.

  • nash obviously couldnt have done this without his teamates sinking their shots to count his assists

  • basketball is a team sport, of course it's inter dependent. teammates have easy shots if the ball is always passed to the right person at the right time, guy gets awarded with points and nash is rewarded with assist, feeling is mutual.

  • Awesome

  • he is one of the best PG out there. i just wish we had him for the Toronto Raptors :D

  • @AngelQueen5020 naw i guess jose calderon is ok (your repping TDOT too? SICK!)

  • ya jose calderon is ok but, having nash as our main PG with calderon as back up, that'll be so hot. and ya, im from Tdot. gotta luv the Raptors :D

  • he pretty much got 40+ points

  • His 20 points, plus his 20 assists end up totaling 60 points.

  • 60+

  • 20 assist is like 40 points... or more =P

    and then 20 points...

    60+ points =P

  • nice move by steve, leading in assist

  • best teammate to have

  • He's like a machine.

  • do you guys think the laker is going to the final now? it seems like the sun are back is action and so are the mav, what do you guys think?

  • just 1 day and already 33000 views, nice.

  • awesome...cool

  • fcuk he's skinny ...

  • hes skinny but hes got tight muscles of a veteran player, he is extremely fit and he needs tthat to be able to play in such a high level in that age.
