  • have always wanted to do this!

  • Ungodliness. Friendship with the world. Immodesty. There was nothing Godly about this whole thing.... WAKE UP church from your slumber. The dying world need the message of the good news of Jesus Christ: you can't win the world for God by enticing the world and acting like the world.

  • Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (2 Timothy 3:5 KJV)

  • @Missnadja2u Amen and Amen to @nocturnal1AU and everyone who has been touched by this spirit filled Flash Mob.

  • omg i love the song

  • Im so excited because my youth group at church is doing a flash mob in the middle of the sermon in 3 weeks!!:D

  • Bros. and Sis's in Baltimore, you are a BLESSING!! And Mr. Kirk Franklin has done it again, with a powerful message of God's love, in JESUS CHRIST, our Lord. It would be great to do this in Harrisburg, PA, too!

  • Where can I download the music?

  • Wonderful, He is great! Let's praise Him forever! Share this with your friends!

  • wow this was refreshing keep it up I love the outreach GOD bless

  • I like this so much,...... nice!,,,

  • Awwwwwww! *heart explodes*

  • ohhh Such a great song and dance.

  • so love this i would love to add this to my ipod can this also be found on itunes?

  • I love love love this!!!!

  • This got me so excited and so full. I want so much to be a part of something like this. Such a positive and heartwarming display of brotherly love. If anyone has information about doing something like this at Norfolk Waterside, give me a name time and number. Time for Hampton roads to step it up for Jesus, show the public we are not ashamed of being a Christian.

  • i have been touch by this song and the pple who are really2 loyal 2 God

  • This is brilliant, I was looking for Christian flash mobs, and found yours and being Adventist I was so delighted to see that you were also SDA. Good to see adventists having fun :)

  • Prais Our Lord Jesus Christ...He is sooo good!!

  • Flash Mob?"??

  • How wonderful! I pray you will be successful in future endeavors!

  • Anyone know the name of the song in this video, I love it!

  • @Ibaikard the song is called "today" by kirk franklin

  • This is a matter of being lukewarm. If I didn't know any better, this video would show me that it is okay to be a lukewarm christian. Trying to be secular and holy at the same is being lukewarm. And I am sorry for those who think that lukewarmness is okay because the bible clearly says that its not okay. And thank you tai for your concern about ppl responding to my comments. I guess I'll just comment back :o)

  • Comment removed

  • @88tinyteena I tagged you because I am just viewing this video and I disagreed with your comment. I understand your point of view. You're entitled to your own opinion, I am just stating mine. I can tell you this, it's not being a matter of being lukewarm for me, and probably none of the participants. I'm no longer going to tag you in anything since you seem to be annoyed. Just be mindful that when you post something on YT, it's subject to responses...even if it's a year later.

  • If you oppose this video, please support your opposition with solid Bible verses. Non-Adventist people do not know what all those letters and numbers mean after your quotes. Without the knowledge of EGW, those quotes mean NOTHING. I don't see any provocative movements in here. These people are open-minded without the barriers seasoned adventist have. I'm sure God used even this to reach souls. Leave the youth alone, plz.

  • @heyitstai - In a previous statement you said "I'm sure God used even this to reach souls". Where in the word of God have you seen either Jesus or any of the disciples or apostles use dancing to win souls? It was always the word of God reaching the heart, converting the soul to God. Christ's methods alone will bring true success, and his methods NEVER appealed to the carnal nature... he only sought to awaken the dormant spiritual faculties of man and he did it using the word which is spirit

  • Something I came across in study! ...Be blessed: It is through the Word--not feeling, not excitement--that we want to influence the people to obey the truth. On the platform of God's Word we can stand with safety.--3SM 375 (1908). {LDE 93.3}

  • Something I came across in study! ...Be blessed: We must go to the people with the solid Word of God, and when they receive that Word, the Holy Spirit may come, but it always comes, as I have stated before, in a way that commends itself to the judgment of the people. In our speaking, our singing, and in all our spiritual exercises, we are to reveal that calmness and dignity and godly fear that actuates every true child of God.--2SM 43 (1908). {LDE 93.2}

  • Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:13

Lets us pray that the Holy Spirit will work in this matter.

  • Very cool!!!! Love it. THAT'S the way to witness. Keep it up. Shot well too.

  • paise yea jesus!

  • OMGaa I loved it!

  • Surprised how nice the harbor has become. Rock on church people.

  • Thank God for all of us! :) What at first was a trial has become a blessing, and while there will continue to be trials mixed with blessings in our respective walks, let's never forget who He is! Jesus can be magnified in our lives according to the spiritual gifts we receive by faith alone, and faith itself is a gift given freely to anyone who asks Him for it. And when we receive it, let us boast only of Christ and the love and mercy He has for us... for He alone is worthy of praise.

  • @nocturnal1AU... Thank God for you!

  • Just want to say that I think we've had an important discussion here guys. All these comments, THIS is what the body of Christ is about! Talking through things, learning from each other, most importantly accepting that we won't always see eye to eye. Unity in diversity! When we engage like this, it's like stones in a river clinking together. It hurts sometimes, but we are being 'polished' through the experience and hopefully building each other up to be more like Christ. To God be the glory. :)

  • Isaiah 30:8-11---> "Now go, write it before them on a tablet, And note it on a scroll, That it may be for time to come, Forever and ever: That this is a rebellious people, Lying children, Children who will not hear the law of the LORD; Who say to the seers, “Do not see,” And to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits". " ---> ouch!!!!! prophecy before my very eyes...smh!

  • God does love us and accept us the way we are, but he doesn't want us to stay that way. He wants to create a clean heart within us and make us a new people. He wants us to be his people. If we are purposely being disobedient, we are sinning. And Sin separates us from God.

  • @88tinyteena Amen sister, right on. :)

  • There's alot of talk about misrepresenting the church by debating this issue. How about focusing on being ambassadors for Christ? Holding up the standards that He has given to the church? And when this is done, Christ, through His church will portrayed beautifully. For a Christian is one who is like Christ! What was Christ like? He was without sin, He was meek and lowly at heart, He sought only to do the will of the Father etc... When the life of Christ is studied, you will find no selfish acts

  • Stubbornness is displeasing to God. This is my prayer for all of us. Lord Jesus please have mercy on us. Please forgive our for our actions, our thoughts and the things that we say. Help us as a church to be grow more spiritually. Help us to let go of our sinful carnal ways and of our sinful desires so that we can be more like you. Let us be pleasing unto you you according to Your will. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

  • @88tinyteena - For encouragment, notice this statement .. "Those who have too little courage to reprove wrong, or who through indolence or lack of interest make no earnest effort to purify the family or the church of God, are held accountable for the evil that may result from their neglect of duty." PP 578 - So my sister if we remain silent on this issue, it will be recorded as if you and I were in on this. We have a christian, moral responsibility to purify the church of God. Praise God for you

  • @sowinseed Amen!

  • All that you have written and than go directly to God and ask.him is he pleased with your bold representation of him here in this comment section of a minostry group that seeked to evangelize in a way that a dying world could understand. Than ask God about the hearts and minds of the folks that did this and let that be your answer.

  • @tineteena88...it was bashing. if it wasnt you wouldnt feel the need to justify it with the human emotion that is so sinful according to you. You'd truly know in your heart and others would feel in their heart that your correction has been done in love and is being posted because you truly want others to know from a biblical stand point why this is not uplifting to the body of christ, notice what I said not the adventist church but to the body of Christ. My advice to you is to sit, and re-read..

  • @tinyteena88...your advice has been noted and will be retrieved if ever needed, thanks.

  • My advice for you is to re-evaluate God's character and think if the performance display in this video was pleasing to Him or if it was pleasing to the people.

  • The issue here is not about who is right and who is wrong. Its about worshipping and pleasing God the way He wants us to. Cain chose he's own way of worship and we all know what that outcome turned out to be. If people don't want to be obedient to God and if they want to develop their own way of worship, so be it. God is the judge. Its is His authority to accepted there worship or not.

  • But your right, you don't need my correction, for who am I to correct someone when they are wrong. Even if I tried to do God's work in helping others to stay on track in their spiritual growth, it would be a waste of my time because people are going to do what they want to do, regardless of what the bible says. The bible tells us to stay away from worldly pleasures and activities. It is our choice to be obedient or not.

  • This I would never be...

  • Praying, spirit filled, Godly people who love JESUS and want to share him with the world, their hearts we're right. This was in no way a selfish performance. WE as adventist.need to stop attacking each other. Its sickening. Someone says they got joy and encouragemeng from watching...you think your so right that you wanna know how? Doesnt proverbs even speak on debating? People we mis- repre sent our church right here when we continue to debate over even this, if I wasnt already sda and I saw...

  • @Missnadja2u Amen! No-one can steal my joy. For those who don't understand, I pray for them. I am thankful that the God I now serve is creative and loving enough to accept us where we're at. Nor will He leave us where we're at! His ways are above our own. Who can understand the goodness of God? He sought and found me in the wilderness, when the shepherds within the four walls neglected to do so. For that I will ever praise Him.

  • Nocturnal it doesnt matter what other people sat, dont let ANYONE take from you the joy that God has given to you, if this video encouraged you than our job as a flashmob participant has been done correctly. While the other adventist debate the right and the wrong, we see the blessing, if they dont oh well. They debat.but what have they posted that they have done thats making an attempt to reach souls in a dying world. I know the hearts of those people 'ministering' in this video, they are....

  • @Missnadja2u - The true work of reaching souls is ongoing as we speak, and the work of conversion by the power of the Holy Spirit is continuing...it doesn't have to be posted on youtube to inform folks of what's happening...and if it was, it would be largely ignored and go unnoticed...why? Because there is no sensationalism in it, there's not real attraction to it. However, God is being glorified anyhow. All I'm bascially saying is that Christ's method alone bring true success in reaching souls

  • I agree nocturnal and as I said previously sowinseed this is the kind of 'attacking' nature that removes the witness from this video. Ofcourse there was rehearsal, why wouldnt there have been? We rehearse before we go to minster on sabbath morning to the people of God dont we? And sowinseed since you missed the worss on your screen after the performance, there was actual information handed out about Jesus.as I said before this is the attitude that keeps people AWAY frim the adventist church.

  • @Missnadja2u - I'm not attacking anyone, just asking questions as to what was actually accomplished by performing rehearsed dance moves before the people, when we have within the SOP a blueprint for evangelism. No...I didn't the miss the caption which mentioned that tracts where handed out...and praise God for the tracts handed out, but certainly we cannot believe that we can draw people to Christ with choreographed dance manuevers that were originated by worldy artists.

  • @missnadja2u - you said earlier that more was accomplished on that day than if you had passed out tracks for people to throw in the trash. My question is: what exactly was accomplished other than a performance at the inner harbor?

  • Even though you feel it could habe beem done a better way that people were blessed and when you do your method of evangelism that you will also minister from your heart in doing your best to represent Jesus. Thank God for you nocturnal, I am so blessed by yoir testimony.

  • @Missnadja2u Amen, He took the shackles off my feet! I rejoice in Jesus' invitation to learn from Him, as He is gentle, lowly in heart. We will find rest for our souls... because His burden is light. :) Matt 11:29, 30.

  • They see "sda." We discourage eachother by these unneccessary debates. This is why people believe adventist have issues. We have to stop so that we can be seen in the correct light. Just think if a non christian intetested in christ came to view this video and became interested in the sda church through the credits of this video, than he reads the comments and sda's are bashing eachother because of opinions and he decides not to be bothered? Lets get it together and make an effort to agree that

  • @Missnadja2u Just to let you know, I am a bold witness for Christ, just like how eg white was a bold witness to Christ. I do not place eg white above Christ because she was just a human being, a sinner like me. And also, I do study the bible. That is how I am able to tell the difference between right and wrong. And I was not bashing people. I was just trying to help them.

  • But there is nothing to be corrected. Teena you've spent the last few days attacking your fellow sda christians for evangelizing in a dying world on a new way. Using quotes to discourage and divert the attention from the message that was presented. Just because it may not have been how you would have evangelized, ok but there is nothing wrong with this video that needs your correction. That day accomplished more in evagelism than if we hadve handed out tracks for people to toss in the trash as

  • I think teena as a new SDA christian I pray that while your studying the doctrine and ellen g. White that you also open the bible and look at the teachings of Jesus... Just seems like your ignoring the bottom line. Teena whats going to be your bold witness for christ? Or is your witness for e.g. white?

  • Conforming in physical form. How can we judge whether someone's mind and spirit is renewed? Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV) "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

  • Romans 12:2---> "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

    # I SEE A LOT OF WORLDLY CONFORMATION IN THIS VIDEO.... just saying...

  • I used to be sarcastic, then I met Jesus.

  • I guess I'm just not meant to be an SDA Christian...

  • @nocturnal1AU "I am not perfect. I'm just a new born again, growing Christian. That's why I said to pray for me at the end of my sarcasm. And that comment you made towards me was very sarcastic too. And If you feel that you shouldn't be an SDA, that is between you and God. But you know that the SDA church holds truth, so why leave it. Once again, I'm sorry if I offended you, just continue to pray for me. Just know that while you are praying for me, I'll be praying for you too.

  • @88tinyteena I'm really sorry that you interpreted my comment as sarcastic, because I was being earnest/serious. :( That's the trouble with text-only messages, the tone doesn't come across right. While I know the SDA church has truth, I've also learned that truth without love is clashing cymbals to my ears. I forgive you and am praying for you too. We are in difficult times, but God's goodness will prevail.

  • @nocturnal1AU I accept what you are saying, but please believe that there is love what I'm saying. I'm not saying all these things to condemn people, because i'm not perfect myself. I do believe that as Christians, we need to correct each other when we are wrong, for I am my brother's keeper. Justifying our sins is wrong in the sight of God. One of our goal as Christians is to try and help our brothers and sisters in our spiritual growth. And that's all I'm trying to do.

  • 'Bedlam of noise' or otherwise, I was listening to the lyrics. I'm really glad they did this. It has encouraged me, not just at a surface level but to draw closer to God. I have been through a lot lately, and have none to rely on but Jesus. Seeing joy and boldness in others brings me joy. I guess I'm just wired different? I hope to be able to return to a church that can accept me as Jesus does, so that I can grow in grace and become who He wants me to be. Hopefully that church is an SDA one.

  • @nocturnal1AU - Ok, you were listening to the lyrics, but what about listening to the word of God?... which is above anything what man can ever say. Sure you may have been moved by the whole scene, but we need to understand that the natural man, the heart of man is naturally attracted to evil and sin and we must fight the good fight of faith and deny ourselves of the things that appeal to us that is not of Christ. "If any come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me"

  • @sowinseed thanks for your concern. My fight of faith has lasted several weeks, it began months before I saw this video, and it continues. The only reason I'm still here is because of prayer and God's word. I saw this video shortly after God gave me victory over my drawn out affliction. He has set me free from depression & I find reason to praise Him every day, despite ongoing challenges. I'm no dancer, but what He's done makes me want to dance! I continue to abide in Him, and joy is not a sin.

  • @nocturnal1AU - Praise God for giving you the victory over your personal affliction and surely you should express joy and praise unto Him for He is worthy to be praised....and if what he has done for you causes you to dance...who am I to question that? For your dancing is an expression of gratitude, praise and joy...but what we saw at the inner harbor is a selfish performance, not an expression of joy and praise for victory over a drawn out affliction...this performance was rehearsed prior to.

  • @sowinseed yes I'm very thankful. Although I question whether the inner harbor performance can be condemned as 'selfish', because I don't know the hearts of these people, or what personal battles they may have overcome to be able to do what they did. As for rehearsing, well it seems like a necessity. Like how the singers and church pianist usually practice. Only God knows our hearts, personally I believe this was done in good faith. I can see how it would offend some, but I found it encouraging.

  • Comment removed

  • @sowinseed You are trying to make this into something much bigger than what it has to be. You don't know this person's background and they said they listen to the lyrics of the song. It was a good message. Just like only part of a sermon is actually scripture and some is a charge to good works, this song was a charge to good works. Hebrews 10:24...

  • "A bedlam of noise shocks the senses and perverts that which if conducted aright might be a blessing. The powers of Satanic agencies blend with the din and noise, to have a carnival, and this is termed the Holy Spirit's working. They cannot tell what they formerly knew regarding Bible principles. No encouragement should be given to this kind of worship." Marantha 234

  • "The things you have described the Lord has shown me would take place just before the close of probation. Every uncouth thing will be demonstrated. There will be shouting, with drums, music, and dancing. The senses of rational beings will become so confused that they cannot be trusted to make right decisions. And this is called the moving of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit never reveals itself in such methods, in such a bedlam of noise." Marantha 234

  • @88tinyteena - The reality is that there are unconverted folks in the church who are acting out their carnal desires and putting a Christ-like garb upon it and calling it "evangelism". There is no example of this kind of ministry in scripture or in the SOP. However...we were warned that this kind of activity would take place in the last days...Satan is the author of this and his aim is to keep folks from responding to the pure, ennobling, elevating truths for this time.

  • @sowinseed Thank you for your response. I totally agree with you.

  • What a sad day in adventism! In this antitypical day of atonement, a time to experience deep searching of heart, a time of separating ourselves from sin, a time of drawing near to God, a time of preaching the 3 angels messages of Revelation 14 and we are deceived into participating in this flash mob foolishness. God is NOT pleased.I'll say it again...God is Not pleased. This event is the apparent result of the condition of our churches and unless repentance is in order, multitudes will be lost.

  • You know what? Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe God is happy with this form of "ministry". Maybe he is looking down on us with cool sunglasses on saying "Well done my "Fun and Cool servants!" Maybe doing the dougie and MJ moves make the angels rejoice in heaven. Maybe when we all get to heaven, we all can do the electric slide and the moonwalk with Jesus in the holy city. Who knows? It seems like I don't know, because according to these responses, my method of thinking is wrong.. smh. Please pray for me.

  • @88tinyteena Will do, and please don't be disheartened, as none of us can claim for certain what is pleasing to Him... except from what we find revealed in His Word. I've just googled 'Pleasing God: a study in the Scriptures' and am learning a lot from the website listed at the very top (the dianadew.com one). Unfortunately I can't post the link, but it's worth checking out. God bless you... He will honour your commitment to Him. :)

  • @nocturnal1AU I was being sarcastic (except for the "pray for me" part). As for bible reading Christians, we DO know what is pleasing unto God. We please God when we obey Him. Revealing our carnal nature in order to draw people to Christ does not please God. Doing what was done in this video on the Sabbath Day is not pleasing to God. Are we followers of Christ? Or are we not? This performance did not reveal who God is to people. This video deceives people into the wrong idea of God's character.

  • I love this steping out of the box to pull people closer to God! If the old tools don't work try the new tools! Great job! Forget the people that talks bad most likely that's all they know how to do!

  • only problem I have is the lead girl being half naked, but other than that whatever works in this time works for me

  • I took this event and did a Biblical overlay. I cannot find a Biblical correlation. Jesus and the 12 apostles flash mob? I do not think He moon-walked at the Olivet Discourse.

  • How fun & positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw no dirty dancing, which made it family friendly! Yay!

  • I apologize if I offended anyone. I just see this as a big deal. I was taught that doing these things was wrong, especially on the Sabbath day. I also was taught that we should not comprimise our beliefs in order to introduce the world to Christ. Being 'cool' does not please God. There are so many ways this could have been done. We all say that we want to be different. Coming from a Sunday church, I honestly believe that this video is no different from Sunday churches or from worldly customs.

  • @88tinyteena Thank you, God's been good. :) I hear what you're saying, and you've raised valid concerns. One thing I found when I was at church, people have very different ideas on standards. In this video (music/dance aside) it's the uplifting lyrics and unity that encouraged me. Though people may do things you don't agree with, may I encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus. The reason I became depressed and left is probably because I focused on church issues, instead of Jesus. Keep the faith!

  • @nocturnal1AU Thank you for the encouragement. I will keep the faith, but I will not compromise. Compromising is a bad thing. I refuse to purposely do things that are not pleasing to God and be in denial thinking that it does please HIm. Doing things that does not please God only pleases Satan. Jesus does not want us to be of this world. It is wrong to mix worldly things with the gospel. We can't be hot and cold at the same time. We should not be lukewarm Christians.

  • would love to... but I'm in Australia! Change is in the air here too. :)

  • At thinking of creative ways to do ministry work and evamgeism

  • @nocturnal1AU... I wish you could have been there live so many of our adventist brothers and sisters supported. It was awesome to see so many prepared to evangelize in a brand new way! I too have felt stifled in creativity due to mindsets but to God be the glory things are changing! Come on to the baltimore area where yourcreativity will be welcomed and appreciated! Were always looking for new ways to introduce Christ to others! The guy Fabian who was one of the masterminds behind this is great!

  • I guess doing risky things like being worldly shows "creativity". What exactly does is mean to "step out of the box"? Do we want to step out of our fundamental beliefs? Does it mean to purposely sin and say that it is the work of God? Really tho? This is horrible. But who I'm I to complain? E.G.W said that these thing would happen to the SDA church before the close of probation. Its just very discouraging for new born again Christians like me to witness it.

  • @88tinyteena I'm sorry that you feel that way.

I actually found this video very encouraging. It gave me a lot of hope. I am recovering from depression (well, trying to) and as a creative artist, I often feel like the church doesn't want or need me. So I left a couple of years ago. No-one asked why. Jesus recently found me where I'm at - outside the church. Just as well. He saved me, and I've never been happier. Maybe I'll go back one day, but the attitudes within discourage me.

  • @nocturnal1AU I feel sorry for your depression, I pray that God delivers you from it. but have you every heard of the phase "Looking for love in all the wrong places"? I just feel that as Christians don't need to find healing thru hiphop music and secular dance. We just need God and God alone. And as a growing Christian, I believe that God delivered me from some of my old sinful ways. Partying use to be one of them. Seeing SDA ppl partying in the street confuses and discourages me.

  • Love this video. Thank you for stepping out of the box and trying something risky. I'm not going to debate the inherent 'rightness' or 'wrongness' as I can appreciate the perspective of both sides. I just love to see a little creativity. Finally!

  • Like I said, I am a new convert. But I do know that the 4th commandment says to KEEP THE SEVENTH DAY HOLY. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but doing SECULAR dances is not an act of holiness. Those dances moves you guys were doing is the same dance moves ppl do in the club. Do you think God is happy with that? And these quotes are from E.G. White, the founder of the church. And isn't kirk franklin an ex-adventist? Why are we using his work in our ministry? I'm a little confused....

  • @88tinyteena Dear sister, I was there that day, it was a blessing. It doesn't matter if they used music from "ex-adventist", we have in our hymnals music from Mozart, that was a musician very very very far from Christian thoughts, watching at his habits. But we have songs that uses his music anyway. why then? It is not important if we use "adventist" music or not, we have to find as much people as we can to bring them to God. Let's us words/music that speak about God and that people understand

  • @88tinyteena Adventist still eat corn flakes and an "EX-ADVENTIST" came up w/ the concept lol. It is adventists like you who take the love out of "sharpening each other". There is nothing wrong with being your brother's keeper, but consider your own motives for commenting. Is it really in love, or is it to have the wittier response??

  • @heyitstai Why I'm I still being tagged in this conversation? Didn't this debate end like a month ago? I said it before and I'll say it again. Jesus does not want us to be like the world. We are to be a different people. You can't be a christian and be worldly at the same time. Every christian knows that. But like I said, no matter what God wants from us, people are going to do what they want to do. If you are encouraging this video, please read Revelation 3:14-22. Hopefully you will understand.

  • And what is it that your quotes are coming from?

  • The song does mention Jesus in the third verse, 2nd half...the song is called.'today' by kirk franklin if you'd like to view the lyrics online.

  • Wait....dancing on the sabbath is a sin? I missed that one in the ten commandments. Pasting it permanently into my mental notepad.

  • "Jesus is enough"??? Jesus said 'If you love me keep my commandments.' Doing secular dance moves on the Sabbath Day is not keeping His commandments. I'm a new member of the SDA church and seeing this really discourages me. I understand this was done with good intentions, but it could have been done a different way. You can defend this in anyway you want, but deep down inside we all know that this method was wrong. Being worldly to attract the world DOES NOT make Jesus happy.

  • Part 3: "The truth for this time needs nothing of this kind in its work of converting souls. A bedlam of noise shocks the senses and perverts that which if conducted aright might be a blessing. The powers of satanic agencies blend with the din and noise, to have a carnival, and this is termed the Holy Spirit's working". {2SM 36.3}

  • Part 2: "The Holy Spirit never reveals itself in such methods, in such a bedlam of noise. This is an invention of Satan to cover up his ingenious methods for making of none effect the pure, sincere, elevating, ennobling, sanctifying truth for this time. Better never have the worship of God blended with music than to use musical instruments to do the work.... {2SM 36.3}

  • Part 1: "The things you have described as taking place in Indiana, the Lord has shown me would take place just before the close of probation. Every uncouth thing will be demonstrated. There will be shouting, with drums, music, and dancing. The senses of rational beings will become so confused that they cannot be trusted to make right decisions. And this is called the moving of the Holy Spirit". {2SM 36.2}

  • I think there is no more debate really needed. Those who feel that this was 'worldly' and not of God that will more than likely forever be your opinion but the people that I handed my card to after the flashmob were quick to tell me that they were blessed by what they had just witnessed and that the card was right JESUS is enough. Its not about us or our opinion sorry to say it but it's not even about 1844 and prophet white,it's about dropping just the simple idea that Jesus is simply enough.

  • I just showed it to a few sunday worhippers who happen to be friends of mine and they we're amazed first that we are adventist and secondly that our witness was so strong!! Ine even remarked that she appreciated the 'out of the box' mindset of seasoned evangelism, she said that it was a wonderful change from handing out tracts and books about Ellen G. white. I agree with the person below, when is the last time you were radical for Christ or even professed boldly the power of his name?

  • This is very SAD. Doing Michael Jackson moves on the SABBATH DAY??? Is this what we call worship? I am imagining God looking down on us shaking his head with a tear roling down is face. Yes, God wants us to reach out to others, but not this way. We are to be different from the world, not like the world. God want to call ppl out of babylon. He does not want us to attract the world to Him by showing how worldly we can really be. While doing work for God, we should try to please Him, not ourselves.

  • No encouragement should be given to this kind of worship. The same kind of influence came in after the passing of the time in 1844. The same kind of representations were made. Men became excited, and were worked by a power thought to be the power of God.... {2SM 37.2}

  • SAD!

  • Go Fabian!! Love you bro!!

  • Great job! I wish I was able to attend. For all of those who complain about this video, when was the last time you were bold in your witness for Christ? Handing out tracts is ridiculous in the US where people will either throw them away or not take them at all. Get out of your Pharisee mindset and be different in Jesus' name and under His anointing. (and yes, I am a Seventh-Day Adventist Christian!)

  • @docsocialite My friend how do you come to the conclusion that handing out tracts is a ridiculous witnessing endeavor? I think it's more ridiculous to perform before people, using Michael Jackson's thriller dance moves, and call that Christian witnessing hoping someone will sign up for bible study wanting to more about Jesus. You talk about being different in Jesus' name...it's interesting that Jesus was the same yesterday, today and forever...we don't need to be different, just be like Him

  • @docsocialite Amen that you are in the SDA church, now learn what is the role of the SDA in the last days, it is not to entertain the world by dancing, but to preach the 3 angels messages to the world...teach them how to fear God, and what it means to give glory unto Him, explaining that we are NOW in the time of judgment and that we are to worship Him that made the heavens, the earth, the seas etc...calling folks out of Babylon and warn about the mark of the beast..this is our work, our witness

  • @sowinseed Wait a minute. So does this mean that you will be packing up tracks and hitting the pavement in the Baltimore harbor in attempts to get the attention of 200+ people simultaneously? I do not see seventh day adventist preaching in the middle of the harbor. You may disagree with non-traditional methods such as praise dancing and stepping, but they are great tools for getting attention. I step with my organization and WE WIN SOULS FOR CHRIST. HE gets ALL of the glory, no doubt.

  • @sowinseed Also, I know this is late, but I just wanted to tell you that I thank God for you too.

  • @HPRINZE88 Because a group of Christians are dancing, you label that as 'love of pleasure', and 'selfish or sensual gratification'? Dancing is not a sin. It seems very judgemental and self-righteous to take scriptures and exerpts out of context to condemn other people's method of evangelism or ministry. Legalism is bondage.

  • yew!! how fun. great message. :)

  • I really enjoyed this, I am an SDA from Nashville, TN, and I think this is just wonderful. For the sister below, David danced and gave God praise and He was very pleased. You cannot speak for the whole church. I think it is so great that this celebration of praise is taking place.

  • At all who struggle with this...its just a beat, get past it and hear what hes singing about. Its time for seasoned "salted" evangelism, 1844? Its now 2011.

  • I just want to say how blessed I was and I shared this with several christian friends who also thought this was amazing. I had a great time ministering in the flashmob!

  • @princessinhisteps... You are so right! This is WONDERFUL! Yay us for stepping outside of 1844 and outside of the box to REALLY MINISTER! I love this.

  • SAD! This is an embarrassment and not representative of the FUNDAMENTAL SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH founded in 1844 by the Millerites! We do not dance.....and don't get me started on what is passing for "Christian music!"

  • @princessinhissteps "We do not Dance"....how crazy does that sound! Clearly, WE DO!

  • @princessinhissteps Legalism is the embarrassment.

  • @princessinhissteps It is only an embarrassment if it was not done from the heart and if no one was reached. Neither was true. God wants us to reach people where they are, not act as if we are better. That is part of the reason I have found ideas like yours hard to bear in the church. Our Jesus washed the feet of sinners! He made no misgivings that he was better than anyone else. He met the sinners where they were. So, I guess, You are not correct in your thinking.

  • Respond to this video...

I felt lucky to be a part of sharing love with other people. It is music and joy such as this that will bring people back to God. It is the negative and condescending group who will carry them away from God. Fabian, I am proud of you! You are joy in God's eyes.

  • @princessinhissteps, you are right. This is an embarrassment to the Seventh day Adventist Church. I thought this was an event done by a Sunday church....smh. If I mute the sound from this video, all I see is a whole bunch of people partying and shaking their bodies in the street. The song that was chosen for the event doesn't even mention God or Jesus' name at all. If I was an outsider, I would only be attracted to this event because of the party scene, not the "Godly message". Just SAD...

  • i love it!!!!!

  • Beautiful!

  • and exactly how does this draw people to God ?

  • @jamal1stplaya212 Well, it is simple to see. We opened them to the thinking of God and the idea of changing one's self. We told the crowd that God loved them. We touched people in the crowd and handed out cards with his word on it. People actually thanked us for sharing God's message of healing and love. That's how.

  • The Power Of God Drawing People Closer To Him.

    How Awesome Is Our God

  • Go Jesus! That was an awesome experience.

  • This was so powerful to see via my handset. I can just imagine the impact you guys had right there. EXCELLENT EVANGELISM TOOL!!! HE IS WORTHY.
