Chaos was a deity in Greek mythology. He created the universe and therefor is pretty much the supreme ruler of the universe. With all the Gods and Titans dead, one can only assume that if Kratos has one final battle, it is against Chaos.

I love this game and I think it's a timeless masterpiece. More than a game, but a piece of beautiful art! But honestly I wouldn't want a GOW4. The story was just perfectly concluded and the finale was the best they could have done. I liked how it wasn't a happy end, but instead it all ended with the destruction of the entire world. They should definitely leave it as what it is and work on new projects, so Kratos will forever have his undisputed place with the greatest games of all time!
But I think they should leave the franchise competely. The GOW trilogy was just pure perfection. Why risk ruining it all by making another game? If you think about it, all possibilities for a reasonable storyline seem kind of ridiculous. They can easily port the game mechanics and huge scale to another franchise and create something new and unique. But somehow I believe they will get money hungry, make a 4th game and shit all over the GOW universe like they always do.

Guys, guys! I get the ending now!! It ties in to the beginning of God of War 1, when Kratos commits suicide. (look it up on youtube) If this is the case, then that means that there will be no more God of War games =(. But still, smashing ending, brilliant series! Great way to end it
I felt that gow3 was far below par as 2 what it could have been. The last quarter of the game just wasn't exciting and having 2 revisit certain areas over and over became annoying. U had 2 do the flight sequence 3 times dammit. The final fight with Zeus, which is the final boss in the entire franchise, was very weak compared 2 some past bosses. I loved the series but it felt like the developers ran out of ideas. I, for 1, don't want 2 c a sequel.

I dont think they will make another game out of it. I expect more a movie release then another game release. It would be pointless to have another game, the gods are dead and there are prolly some titans running around, whats he gonna do become a titan bounty hunter? I love this game and I think it's a timeless masterpiece. More than a game, but a piece of beautiful art! But honestly I wouldn't want a GOW4. The story was just perfectly concluded and the finale was the best they could have done. I liked how it wasn't a happy end, but instead it all ended with the destruction of the entire world. They should definitely leave it as what it is and work on new projects, so Kratos will forever have his undisputed place with the greatest games of all time!

But I think they should leave the franchise competely. The GOW trilogy was just pure perfection. Why risk ruining it all by making another game? If you think about it, all possibilities for a reasonable storyline seem kind of ridiculous. They can easily port the game mechanics and huge scale to another franchise and create something new and unique. But somehow I believe they will get money hungry, make a 4th game and shit all over the GOW universe like they always do.

Guys, guys! I get the ending now!! It ties in to the beginning of God of War 1, when Kratos commits suicide. (look it up on youtube) If this is the case, then that means that there will be no more God of War games =(. But still, smashing ending, brilliant series! Great way to end it

I felt that gow3 was far below par as 2 what it could have been. The last quarter of the game just wasn't exciting and having 2 revisit certain areas over and over became annoying. U had 2 do the flight sequence 3 times dammit. The final fight with Zeus, which is the final boss in the entire franchise, was very weak compared 2 some past bosses. I loved the series but it felt like the developers ran out of ideas. I, for 1, don't want 2 c a sequel.

I'm very sure that they are going to make another game based on this franchise. Why wouldn't they? It's so profitable. My guess is that the game is a prequel of this story. For different reasons. A long time ago, Ares tricked him into killing his own family. Even though he avenged them, the Gods never took away the nightmares of his past, and his father Zeus, in fear that Kratos would overthrow him, tried to kill him. He wants to avenge both the attempt on his life, but mainly his slavery and abuse from the Gods. Plus, he's kind of fucked up.

I dont think they will make another game out of it. I expect more a movie release then another game release. It would be pointless to have another game, the gods are dead and there are prolly some titans running around, whats he gonna do become a titan bounty hunter? It wouldnt feel like a God of War game if it was like that . . . Ive got my eye on a movie set before the first game or were they left off on the third one.

And there will be a new protragonist who will lead the demigod children of the gods or the remaining Titans in a rebellion against Kratos. And so basically the cycle will never end there will always be a War with Olympus.

I believe Kratos is still alive, I remember beating god of war 1 (or was it two) and they had a edition disk talking about alot of stuff, I read a magazine with a interview and they say Kratos's brother could be another villain in a sequel...and remember while Zues and KRatos were fighting when Gaia appeared? Zues said "nice pawn Gaia! but you should of picked the other one?" I havent seen anyone mention this yet and that got me really curios

@swipha maybe someone else had been manipulating kratos against the gods? maybe his brother is joyous now that kratos has no one, or some other titan may still be alive, many of the titans in the opening scene weren't shown to be dead. so one of them may still be alive like the electric one, who is the titan of the sea. so he may be alive since wen the world flooded it would have no effect on him. i really dont know, where it'd go, but Atlas was missing in this game, so he may be still alive
