Hey Kid.

I've been playing a guitar for 40 years...FORTY...i still learned a few things from you and I've been playing this tune for decades.

You have more talent than anyone I've seen at your age. ....because you understand that it is all about 'feel'. You 'feel' the rhythm and it comes out in the way you play.

Folks, don't get too caught up in the notes in the solos. Jimi never played it the same twice..play with the scale at more or less the same position onj the fretboard.

Actually that was pretty darn good! When I 1st saw you, I thought it was going to suck (I wrongfully judged you cuz of your age) sorry man. I must admit at 1st, I only kept watching cuz I thought you were actually going to pic your nose lol! You play much better then I did when I was your age, but we had no internet, just books with wrong notes, and wrong chords in boxes above the wrong notes lol.

This was a while ago, so I don't know. Maybe try treble at 1 o clock, mid at 5 o clock, bass at 12 o clock. Put the gain wherever you want.

But now I keep my treble at 2 o clock,  mids just past 12 o clock, and the bass at 3 o clock. Then I use my DS-1 with tone at 11 o clock and distortion between 2 and 3 o clock.
