  • @pavshopshere I'm a teenager now and I think Tony is soooo cute, I absolutely love the Hollies, their music makes me happy and so do they, I love them they're so good and still going strong : )

  • yeh, I was a teenager in the sixties. I'm 60 now. but I remember like it was yesterday. I was in love with Tony, and the many many other vocal icons. LOL. the british boys were definitely the cooliest. Dylan was top also tho.

  • I am not an enormous Nash fan but credit where its due, his harmonies on this track are sublime.

  • Just love that last pic of Mr. Tony - the MAN! Is it just me, or should they make a movie about the Hollies, and James McAvoy should play TONY!!!

  • @LadieBug357 OMG... you are so right on!! From a fellow crusher on the Hollies AND James McAvoy...it would be totally hot!!! Now who would play Allan?

  • @Poopaloo55 MARK WAHLBERG of course!!! and Paul Bettany should play Bobby! now who would play Nashie???

  • @LadieBug357 Wow...good call. Nashie? What about Ryan Gosling?

  • @Poopaloo55 oooohoohoohoohoo. . .nice one! the rest of the guys may be a little harder.

  • @LadieBug357 I'll raise you one: Ben Barnes for young Allan over Mark Wahlberg.

  • @Poopaloo55 oh. . . alright. . . (heeheehee)!

  • @LadieBug357 This was fun...thanks for the idea!

  • if uou want to listen to the hollies at the height of their powers then listen to the album For Certain Because it is a classic i

  • Lindo, lindo, lindo esse vídeo.

Essa música é muito linda, na voz de ALLAN ela fica especial.

    Besitos Ivette.

  • Tony was the understated, natural cool guy of the 60's.

  • Great song-and great pics! Thanks for posting! The Hollies forever!♥♫

  • I've always liked this tune. It serves as proof that Crosby and Nash were influencing each other even before they had ever met. This was obviously heavily inspired by the Byrds, although Allan Clarke sounds a little more like Sonny Bono than Roger McGuinn. The Byrds also recorded quite a few songs that display alot of Hollies influence, most notably "It's No Use," "She Don't Care About Time," and "Lady Friend."

  • Thank you syl - One of my favourites xo

  • Did you ever wish you could go back in time? I often do looking and listening to these guys. I was too young back then. Lovin' Tony! He's the man.
