Compare the stuff Megadeth and Metallica have recently released to Slayer's recent efforts...Seriously, it isn't even close. Slayer is still arguably the best metal band out there, even though a lot of these new bands are just reprocessed crap. Slayer not only outlasted their counterparts, but countless bands since. I agree that Megadeth, Metallica, and Anthrax all kicked ass at one point, but Slayer never stopped.
