Lemme see if I got this right: he cheated his way into getting 3 unicorns that did nothing but rout 1 unit (linemen at the beginning), and damage 2 maybe 3 others? If I'm right, and I don't know the price of unicorns because I didn't use them, I don't think that's very cost effective!

Love the music. Lord of the Rings is so suitable for total war battles. Nice tactics too. Not many folks do infantry flanking manoeuvres although the success of it was emphasized by your opponents complete inactivity. He seemed to be something of a horse fondler and didn't enjoy moving his infantry or retargetting his artillery.
The way you fuse cinematography, commentary, music and good battles makes these some of the best around (especially as you avoid bad humour ;-) ). Its always good to see cheaters and campers go down hard; I really do wonder what crappy battles they must be used to playing if they think thats how the game should be won...
its disgusting when people just wait for you without moving an inch. and what pisses me off even more is when they just freeze when you actually start attacking them hard. it makes the AI feel more challenging some times. i just played a guy who just camped on his side of the map and fortified the buildings in his spawn point with units of line infantry. he just waited for me. so boring.
I had one yesterday in a 2v2 where the 'opposition' ran the equation that if they had more arty pieces, they were allowed, nay *expected* to camp, even though their arty was way out of range. We push up even a little bit, they just retreated further; yet a suicide cavalry raid elicited no response beyond Old Guard forming a square even though it was into the heart of their army!
tell me about it... im telling u they just freeze! its hilarious yet terribly sad how fast they go down once u start out-maneuvering them and they just sit there watching u tear up their flanks or rears. lool sometimes i feel like the AI is more challenging than the majority of ppl that play online. shame really.

yea that happens sometimes... i think its just certain maps. if u try to play grassy flatlands 2 v 2 ranked it freezes most of the time.
i don't have that problem too often because i usually play 1 vs 1.

its disgusting when people just wait for you without moving an inch. and what pisses me off even more is when they just freeze when you actually start attacking them hard. it makes the AI feel more challenging some times. i just played a guy who just camped on his side of the map and fortified the buildings in his spawn point with units of line infantry. he just waited for me. so boring.

I had one yesterday in a 2v2 where the 'opposition' ran the equation that if they had more arty pieces, they were allowed, nay *expected* to camp, even though their arty was way out of range. We push up even a little bit, they just retreated further; yet a suicide cavalry raid elicited no response beyond Old Guard forming a square even though it was into the heart of their army!

tell me about it... im telling u they just freeze! its hilarious yet terribly sad how fast they go down once u start out-maneuvering them and they just sit there watching u tear up their flanks or rears. lool sometimes i feel like the AI is more challenging than the majority of ppl that play online. shame really.

thank you! i was in the process of making a video from one of my oldest replays but i realized the camera work was kind of shabby. It wasnt as cinematic as i would've liked it to be so i stopped working on it... I should have a good replay before the end of the weekend

thanks owen.. and yea the loss of all those saves was pretty annoying. i had a saved replay on pretty much every map in the game just to show u guys some variety. oh well. ill have to play some more battles on my friend's laptop. problem is im always so busy with uni work
