USE a rapid fire and slow motion control pad on Abadox if you can. You'll need it for levels 2 and 6. This game is tough as fuck! You basically have to dissect the 2nd half of level 2 from the ground up in order to survive. You need to know who shoots what, at what time, and how many bullets. It's that simple. And for the tough guy who made this video. It takes hardly any skill to beat the first level. Let's see you run the gauntlet on level 2 without overdubbing ur video.

I guess I am a bit of a tough guy because, like other tough guys, I read the descriptions in youtube videos because it contains useful information. For example, my description says that this video is a response to a guy that said he couldn't make it by the first level. He was just acting (I hope), but I put this vid up anyways because I made it just for fun (I was bored that day). So, sorry, I wont be playing this game again any time soon, but I'll take the tough guy statement as a complement.

I read the description goof ball. But why not show your buddy that if you could beat level 2, he could beat level 1. The video is silly. Most everyone can beat level 1. It's level 2 where the challenge is.

Why not show my buddy (he's not) that if I could beat level 2, then he could beat level 1? Because that's going beyond what I intended to show, which was that level 1 is beatable. I can show him that he can beat level 1 if I just beat level 1. So beating level 2 is pointless for me to do. I guess I could challenge myself and show that I could beat level 2 or something, but I don't need to or want to, so I'm not going to.

I think the first mistake alot of people make when reviewing this game is that they DONT TAKE POWERUPS. It i'snt exactly obvious that you are supposed to shoot those blue things and not dodge what pops out of em, but maybe if this was more apparent more people would love this game as much as I do.

ts surprising meany people think this game is bad/impossible . i consider it the best game of its type on NES . it makes lifeforce look dull. the level designs are exellent , the actoin is perfect and fast. also the music sets the pace brilliantly.

is there any other NES game of this type that can compete with abadox for speed , grafix , design and music ?

I own the cart of this game and I have beaten it with no cheats in 2 weeks. its a tough game....THE LAST PART OF THE 2nd STAGE IS A BITCH! However the last stage is where the challenge is. you have to be precise, good luck.
