I'm not sure midichlorians were around in Revan's time...(nerd moment) If I remember correctly, I think there was some "terrible incident" in the Force that caused all Force-users to need Midichlorians living inside of them throughout every generation afterwards...

Besides, you can't really tell who's more powerful, because Revan also lived back in a time when there was a lot of "Force-resistant Armor" and Energy Shields being produced
