i live in alaska on an airforce base and the only make up brands that they have alre loreal, HIP, Maybeline and i believe covergirl but the brand i like the most is HIP. Hey! Some advice. I'm NC42 and I love the coral look, but I haven't been able to find a great coral lipstick or lipgloss that shows on me. I have dual tone lips (my upper lip and the outer edge of my lips are dark, almost grey/brown) so I need a lipstick or gloss with considerable pigment to make my lips look even. One more thing, could you also recommend a coral blush to go with it or would it be better to use a brownish blush?

Could you do a nails tutorial. Can you show your technique for loading the brush, applying to the nail, how to prevent chipping at the tip, drying techniques, correcting chips and polish on skin when nails are wet. My challenge is I get it on to lose it in then next day or two-I try to get like at the salon to no avail. I use opi, sally hensen and seche vite products. I don't know what I'm doing wrong :0(

Ok, well we all know that not every one is blessed with perfect skin. But I have to say even though you have on foundation, yours looks radiant. You should do a video on you plain faced and applying your foundation regimen and also a makeup removal video. I dont know if its just me or everyone, but when I go to 'remove' my makeup, I have a HARD time removing eyeliner. especially from my lower waterline. it seems to never come completly off or I scrub so much my eye hurts or gets irritated. Thnx

Colors can look different on each individual, so I don't know whether Style will or will not suit your preferences. The MAC site describes it as a "bright coral-peach with golden shimmer." On lighter skin, shimmer blushes tend to show more color; on darker skin, they tend to show up more shimmery or metallic. The only way to know how it will look on you is to test it. Hope that helps!

You might be interested in a smoky eye I did earlier this year. The video is called "Amethyst Eyes for February." You can just replace the purples with browns. Kuuipo1207 did a beautiful brown smoky eye in her video entitled "Metallic Brown Smokey Eye."

All the NC concealers are more yellow. Check out the MAC website and go to the page for any of their concealers. Follow the "Shade Guide" link, which will take you to a page that explains their foundation, powder, and concealer name designations.

Thanks for your question. I'm not a makeup artist, and I've only worked with my eyes. But you should check out Nireyna's videos on the corner technique and correcting eye shape for a demonstration of how to use a soft eye pencil to define the shape.

I have a question. I am a MAC wearer close to your shade (NC45). My issue with MAC has always been that the makeup seems to fade away somewhat and doesn't look fresh by the end of the day. I use the studio fix fluid and the mineralized powder. What can I do to keep the "fresh" makeup look all day? I see it on other folks, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Many people swear by MAC Fix+ spray. Spraying your face (two squirts should be enough) after you complete your makeup in the morning will help set the makeup. A spritz or two during the day will refresh liquid foundation. For that purpose, you could also use any water spray (for example, Evian refresher spray or even plain water). The advantage of Fix+ is that it has added glycerin and nutrients. The Evian also has added nutrients, I believe. I'll do some more research on this question. Thanks!
