Now i know you bashed someone earlier for this but in all fairness both players played badly, it's never a good idea to just mass hydras, if he had of mixed roachs in with them and got upgrades he could of done much better and lost far less, now it was really only the mass hydras without roachs and the lack of upgrades that were the problem, i'm not saying these are bad players but the choices weren't that great.

viperskwa made a pretty sound move there to allow those 6 zealots of take out that gold hatch. the reason being 6 zealots =600 minerals 1hatchery = 300 minerals he already paid for it for how long it had been up mining and also to sack possibly some lings and hydras also would have made that exchange more of a loss for zerg.. instead broodlings surround and trap hydra pick off the zealots// as a result 300 mineral gain for zerg.... nice play

protos are op now protos at start have 1 that can attack air and 1 for melee and terrion same but poor zerg had 2 start units that can only attack ground no air so the zerg are more limeted

The toss player made a big mistake not having observers or at least a proxy pylon out to give advance warning of attacks on the gold expo. That cost him the game, as later he couldn't afford the tech switch to more stalkers against mutas.

That was an amazing game. I dont want to spoil anything but both players were able to come back from devastating loses, the zerg i thought was gonna die in the early game and then the tech switch almost killed the toss. GREAT GAME and GREAT CASTIN!!

ANd he kept throwing horrible psy storms once he threw 3 storms on the same group of hydras, storms dont stack!!!

I'm actually quite enjoying your commentaries, much like mainstream presenters, you're able to keep a firm grip on the action and can display a thoroughly vivid description on the battle.

If I could make a suggestion. A short, highlights montage at the end wouldn't go amiss while you do the endgame rap out, possibly making points on key mistakes and brilliant moves so the players and the viewers could gain a little more experience.

In an ideal world with no time constraints I'd be all for it, but right now I can't justify the investment.

@golumpygo you do it so that there is only one very narrow opening for zerg to go through, one zealot can easily take on zerlings 1 on 1 in a line, but not if it gets surrounded. Early zerg will have to go through this choke point to get to the probes. Later on, you'll find mutas doing worker harass.

Just a guess about why Viper let his expansion die at 15:05, was to not let Nas know that it was rebuild immediately after his zealots were destroyed. Since the Hatchery was dead and didn't let him see the next one come up, he was able to leave that high-mineral expansion up without worrying about defending it because Nas had no idea it was up again.

Combined with the pressure he kept putting on Nas, Viper was able to leave that expansion running untouched for the rest of the game.

Why didnt Nas expand to just below his main base? Ge kept going for a further expansion that was hard to defend with his immobile force. The closer expansion would have made much more sense. His units were standing next to the destrucible rock doing nothing for ages. 6 mins in Viper is destroying his rocks since his forces are not engages and Nas is standing still admiring the scenery.
