  • TOTAL SHIT

  • ahh... I had the cassette with this stuff a hundred years ago:)

  • Your teacher was obviously a fool to fail an excellent piece of work, i would have marked a B at the least

  • This is Brilliant

  • @MrBb100000 thanks :)

  • @miamiamiaw

Realy good video, i hope you got a good grade

I always remember it when i hear this song

  • morbid fucking makes me see this

  • Where does this shit Laibach?

  • No images could fit better to this music than these.

  • pure industrial awesomness

  • Moskwa -Suicide check this out

  • Brilliant! But while watching it I started to think of how ironical it would be to play the whole sequence backwards... As if the totalitarian regime, or totalitarianism in general in any country... save people by shooting them. That would look much more something Laibach would do in their music videos.

  • @tenjouin1 Its actually a movie from soviet times i think and the one's shooting are royal cossacks or "The Cossacks"

  • This actually looks like something Laibach would do, brilliant combination of movie and song. It's a perfect fit, both have political message, plus Laibach's music fits brilliantly with these old sequences (tho I've always imagined all these "old(er)" Laibach songs would fit in propaganda films from 30's and 40's)

Oh, and it's from their first album titled "Laibach", tho same version appears on "Nova Akropola", "Anthems" and maybe "Ljubljana-Zagreb-Beograd" (tho I'm not 100% sure about last)

  • this is video, makes from Odessa, in Ukraine, its very impotent video for a world, its a real. Intresting to know about this, its our sosity, not in the drags, sport, kulture, its in the power of people. People consciousness is a absolutly utopy

  • You...failed this subject?? Is your teacher blind, or deaf or... just didn't get the point? I love the video!

  • Oblast je pri nas ljudska!

  • LOVE IT! Amazing music. Greetings from Poland!

  • Nice video. Very much in spirit of the band. Its very ironic how the band is a totalitarian but it fights a totalitarian regime.

And B. potemkim is considered to be one the greatest propaganda movies of all time. And it is very in spirit of laibach to manipulate symbols of ideologies. Plus Sergei Einstein said that the soundtrack for this movie is to be changed every few years in order to stay fresh.

And Laibach is very good choice. To bad i din't think of it myself. Great work

  • I see Laibach as very futuristic.

But I am curious as to what you mean by "totalitarian"?

    Pleas explain, it interests me.

    Thank you.

  • Totalitarism is the future:) Laibach started as a band in a communist country. and they were shocking by western standarts. but he way the did it was not to fight it they mimicked it exposing it in it's real form. One of more famous acts was in 1988 when there was a competition for youth day(communist holidy' for a poster. they put an old Nazi sign except they changed the svastika with a star. the posterswon. and were all around the country and i think this shows in a way how laibach works.

  • The competition was in 1987 - New Collectivism. But good written argument.

  • Oblast je pri nas ljudska!

  • Nicely done! The editing goes really well together with the song. (fav)

  • what was the topic of the school project?

  • we were suposed to edit a movie scene.. there was no specific topic.

I chose to make a videoclipe.

  • Казаки

  • Don't listen to the teacher ! :-) I think not only it perfectly matches the topic of the song, but also adds to it. 5 stars from me.

  • Oh! One more thing! This song is originally from the album Nova Akropola.

Anthems is their "Best of..." compilation ;)

  • thanks for the information. im changing the description of the vid..

actually, it has everything to do with the situation.. I picked Battleship Potenkim cause i thought the concept of the movie mached perfectly the concept of the song and the band itself.

And, actually... i failed this subject... the teacher hated it... so, its very good to read some good coments, you know..

  • I can't believe your teacher failed you for this video! It's very well made, and the music was an excellent choice. I think Laibach would approve. :)

  • @miamiamiaw I dont see why any one hated this It fits perfectly with the Revolutinary Authortarian feel

  • @polarbear242 This is not the version of the self titled album?

  • Excellent matching of song and video.

Laibach is one of my favorite bands.

You are brazillian right? Their work on totalitarianism is very pertinent to the situation Brazil finds itself currently.

    Otimo trabalho ;)

  • Excellent use of the track and great visuals. Well done sir.

  • Thanks!

But no sir. I'm a female

    lol =p

  • Excellent! - The music matches the film sequences perfectly.

  • Thanks for the coment! That was exactly the point - to match the sequences with the music..
