great ideas! I agree, cutting up credit cards is a good idea. I had one credit card, but since I barely used it I canceled it and cut it up. I have a debit card and they are accepted as credit as well. They have the convence of a card, but the money comes directly out of your account like a check. If you dont have the money you wont buy it! So switch to debit :)

Never owned a credit card,

drove a $300 car for 11 years, then bought a $400 car, yep they are junk but they run.

also grow wild gourds, the leaves make bug repellent for your crops instead of pesticide.

You can also freeze your credit cards in a metal can (like for soup) so you CAN'T use the microwave to thaw it out... And why not wrap a photo of your financial goal around the can? More ideas...
