I agree with you completely. I especially reacted to the book's treatment of Christian cliches' and that on so many levels how they have undermined evangelicalism. This boomer was pretty much at the towel-throwing-in point with faith when I read the Shack. Put bluntly, the book gave me hope - hope I've found in no church or preaching or teaching. I think William Young "nailed" the real God - thankfully someone has.
