people: all these fixes are BS or outdated. i've tried everything. airplane toggle, reset network, restore, restore and upgrade, opened up the iphone and reset antenna, jailbroken, tryed to downgrade baseband.after doing alot of research ive had my best luck with TEMPERATURE. toss it in the freezer for 5 minutes (dont get it wet!) and watch your signal come back. i just got mine out, 3 bars on 3G. it's not perfect but it's worked! thumbs up or respond or message me if it works for you!!

@Ecilrack89 mine did too do it again but put airplane mode on pop out your SIM make sure its in its case put it back in airplane mode off reset network settings and it'll work. Nice video helped a lot

I FIXED IT. no Gevey Key. It’s because the iPhone has to be activated before it is jailbroken. I erroneously did a custom restore and jailbroke without plugging the iphone to iTunes to activate service. You don’t have to “sync to backup” nor “activate as a new iphone”; just plug it in and wait for iTunes to activate the service.

I had this problem Two weeks and I fixed it. My problem was that I had slow connection those days AND I coukdnt install "ultrasn0w" propetly. The database was not updated at all then the proccess was incomplete and ultrasn0w was not installed fine.

Now I got the propper speed in my internet, cydia coukd update all the data base and when it was READY I installed ultrasn0w. Automatically recognized the CARRIER.

Follow my suggest.

uninstall/remove untrasn0w then do what he says in the video,then reboot iphone then your network will appear.

The problem is that im pretty sure you have updated your modem version to 05.14.02? am i right!

currently that version is not unlockable using untrasn0w. But after itunes/apple release 4.2 firmware, the hackers will release a new ultrasn0w which will work on this modem version.
