  • I've listened three of his songs. All are alike, but they're very good!

  • as the screams of 1000 innocent children echo in my ear from unknown places..i find silence in this wonderful sound..for but a moment the cries fade, and the screams disappear ....true peace...

  • Susumu Hirasawa should have a lot more fans

  • Just discovered this now and WOW! I came from a Mike Oldfield page as someone was comparing this to Oldfield. I am American also and I'll take more of this over American junk tunes anyday. Learn me some more please! I am a musician but I feel like quitting after hearing this! I would tell you to check out the music on my page but I'm too embarassed now so don't.

  • Im american and love foreign music, especially Susumu Hirasawa and The Pillows to name a few. Its like their vocals are just another instrument in the music for me anyways. I love it.

  • @MOVIEmusicFIEND90 I agree Susumu Hirasawa is a fantastic artist - lucky Japan !

  • if you stare at it long enough it looks like a giant scoop of ice cream

  • i wish they had this in itunes :[

  • @tayla2007m they don't cos american record labels wouldn't get any money from it i bet. besides what's the point of itunes if u can download it from internet or buy the actual cd over internet too

  • @NefkaAlice thats what happened to me too, except it was with some Berserk songs :) now hes one of my favorites :P

  • Is this the same guy who does the Paranoia Agent opening music?

  • YES.

I actually got the soundtrack to the series. Great stuff by a great composer.

  • This man makes the most beautiful music i know of, many of his songs if not just all of them are calming and awesome.

  • his berserk OST is definitely in most parts sinister, threatening, just partially breaking through with his usual style. makes it very rich in pattern though, I love his both sides.

  • well, i woulnd't say that they are all calming, but i'll agree with ya on the awesome part ;)

  • I'm totally agree with you

    No one had this sensibility.

With his music he help me to travel in my mind, my spirit, my heart, my kokoro...

  • I feel a little music of the Indians, however, very nice I like this singer

  • And thus Mr. Hirasawa created music and all was right in the world.

  • lulz. until guts tears apart the childishness and mr hirasawa decided to split his world into day and night so he can play to his likings P;

  • I meant gattsu . not guts xD one of the most beautiful melancholic songs inmho.

  • I have the feeling of some people are just posting positive comments to get thumbs up. This is a work of art, not a place of recognition. This is for the people who really enjoy the music made by this man.

  • This is a beautiful piece of art that I have EVER heard! It made my day happy . . . now Im going back to work :P. ah well.

  • I feel exactly the same... this song just makes me dream.

  • i swear this song makes me forget all my problems!

  • yeah i know exactly what you meen, its like everything else just momentarily disappears, and your in your own little world of susumu hirasawa sweetness.

  • Susumu Hirasawa is great! He has such beautiful music, even if i can´t understand the lyrics.

  • original or translated?

  • both please!!!! thax

  • I've asked at one place if they know

  • Americans should learn from here.

  • @sammohungkamboo

They could have learned but there are shadowy forces cultivating brutal stupidity in their "education", "culture" and "entertainment" for decades with extremely cold, programmed persistency.

To know what i'm talking about find on the internet a page with the text "Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars".

    Best!

    R

  • @sammohungkamboo

    What?? Learn what?

  • @IntoTheFace karate

  • @sammohungkamboo

Americans, not all, but many of them, should learn more about many things, and all of us to. Today on Brazil, we have a insane age.

  • @sammohungkamboo shut up japanophile

  • @sammohungkamboo I agree. There are many things the Americans could learn from Japan. Not just how to make quality music. Considering how rarely there's a crime there. I've been there. It's safe, healthy, and over-all a wonderful place. Why the hell can't we do that?

  • @sammohungkamboo Why do you say that? I mean don't get me wrong I love Susumu Hirasawa, and enjoy finding work of his I never heard before, but if you think American music is just two-dimensional then you should consider listening to more music. May I suggest Joe Satriani for starters.

  • @CwHart

    and for not starters?

  • @Zoid87 Depends on your general taste honestly this particular style is rare in America. But bands like Tool also put alot of effort in their music. Finally another incredibly unique sounding band is Abney Park. Granted American music doesn't appeal to this particular style but that is simply a difference is culture. In truth I find most J-Jock pales in comparison to western rock, but thats simply my opinion.

  • @sammohungkamboo americans NEVER learn from others

  • @DonMega187 well they learned about sad movie endings from foreign movies industries, how strange is that?:D

  • @DonMega187 I'M SORRY, I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU, TRY SPEAKING AMERICAN!!! IT'S THE ONLY LANGUAGE I UNDERSTAND!

  • @DonMega187 arrogant Europeans NEVER stop making assumptions about others.

  • @sammohungkamboo Can you weebo jerks please learn enjoy something without having to ruin it with your anti-western dribble?

  • @dannomatic1671 Seriously guys, listen to dannomatic and SHUT UP. Hirasawa's music should not inspire this hatred.

  • @sammohungkamboo Can you weebo jerks please learn to how enjoy something without having to ruin it with the usual anti-western dribble?

  • Comment removed

  • @sammohungkamboo learn what?

  • @sammohungkamboo

Correction: ANYONE could learn from this. I don't like seeing 'Americans' generalized in such a manner- anyway what you see on tv does not reflect or encompass American society as a whole.

  • @spiralunix You're right. Come to South Europe, there's plenty of such 'ignorant' people.

  • iiiyaa iiiyaa iiiyaaa... yooii, yooiiya ii...

  • yes very cooool pongan mas csnciones eh!!!

  • Technique of Relief has to be my favourite Hirasawa CD, ever. Track after track on it is perfect!

  • Another amazing song.
