What are you talking about? His "Greatest Depression" prediction is for 2012. He still has lots of time, and things are definitely moving in that direction.
If you need proof, keep your eyes open for a major terrorist attack. He's predicted that a 9/11 magnitude strike on North American soil will happen this year : 2010.
In the meantime, it doesn't hurt to support your local economy. Buy local farmer food. Shop at small business stores. Eat at family-owned restaurants.

Japan has substituted cheap labor by using full automation, full computerization, full robotization, making the work place robot friendly as well as human friendly. And by making everything technologically accessible to robots, raning from simple tools to ultra-sophisticated, super-complicated equipment, gadgets, devices, controls, monitors, effectors, etc. No need for immigrants-based cheap labor or overseas outsourcing.

Don't be in too much of a hurry to get the shooting started. I know how you feel, you want a confirmed target in your sights, be done with all this shadow boxing but think about how it might actually play out in reality.
The major problem I see, for now, is that a lot of the people who'll be fighting this revolution are currently so brainwashed and confused they don't even know who they are anymore and are as likely to fight for their enemies as themselves. That's scary.
