Boturini Codex, the Codex Telleriano-Remensis, and the Aubin Codex. Aztlán is also mentioned in the History of Tlaxcala, as well as Historia Tolteca-Chichimeca.
The US never existed in Aztlan prior to 1848, so those tribes were NEVER "American Indians", they were MEXICAN INDIANS.
Anyway, the Aztec are still there, just ask any Hopi, O'Odham, Pima, Yaqui, Ute, Paiute, Luiseno, etc.
