well it looks better :D but really it has a faster processor better res screen (1280 x 800), better keyboard its also lighter i believe im sure theres more we'll have to wait and see.

Is it possible to get a linux version with the fancy 1 chunk 32gb SSD drive, and then simply install my own windows XP on it using a 6gb USB pendrive?

I do like the sleek design and rather nice bronze color of it, but I dont really look forward to dealing with sluggish SD cards and a 16gb drive wich is a bit of a pinch for a flabby OS like XP.

Yes you can, If you use a program called nlite it means you can trim the fat from xp and also make it bootable from USB.

However i'd give Linux a go first :)

It wont be hot since it uses a new polymer battery rather than a lithium-ion battery. I literally had my finger on the order button for an eee 901 and then this comes along an eee S101 Xp for £400 thank you very much
