You have a lot of perfectly played parts in the piece but you got the key wrong. Some of the notes are flat. Just fix those spots where you play the incorrect notes and it'll be awesome :)

Not know anything violin playing, I am wondering whether it would be possible to play this piece in G. All the violin transcriptions on youtube for this piece, like the viola versions, are played in D. Since I saw the Chaconne played on cello in d minor, I thought it just might be possible to play all the cello suites on violin in their and all the sonatas & partitas on cello in their original keys

@jlcel0818ya The only way we could play it in G is if we had a 5 string violin. If you take it down to the G-string with the violin as is, then some of the parts would be unplayable since they go too low for the violin. It's possible to play in the Key of G on viola, though!

I played the violin for 15 years, Your off key in some areas and you take too many strokes. Use more of the bow and don't take a new stroke with every note. Triple it up in some areas

I played this on my cello for solo and ensamble, but I got a 1 instead of honors because "my bow arm wasn't moving enough"

Don't take this the wrong way, but practice with a metronome! Your tempo was all over the place.

the effect you use or just your violin sounds terrible, if you can't play it clear and with the notes the way they are (not to high or not to low because you were wrong in many parts) ..you can play this piece of course, but i don't think putting it on youtube is gonna help...but youre in the right way just practice a little more and keep going ;)

By all definitions you just totally contradicted yourself in saying she played it well, yet had poor technique and no emotion.

As for the player. Try your hardest not to let the camera get your nerves going. If you can't play it perfect in the practice room, you won't when people are watching you. Try not to rush and get flustered if you make a mistake here and there. Good effort. :D

very well done that is a very hard arrangement to play on the violin. i play the violin myself but i would limke to play the cello too. hopefully i van learn sometime soon. i am looking for lessons in yellow pages or from a contact of my musicc teacher in school lol. Nice work. You have a great start. Now try slowing it down a little. Relax. Really try to finesse it out. Try hard to commit it to memory...turn out the lights and practice it in the DARK. No kidding. Practice in the dark. That can be very helpful.
