I know for a fact that trout will gorge on caddis flies in the summer, but that brings me to a question. I've had to use size 24 midge patterns at times to get a taker; so I wonder, if the trout can see to hit flies that tiny, do any of you think that they are sucking down the eggs the caddis are laying purposely? Just a thought, but maybe they eat stuff alot smaller then we can immitate with a hook.
