Dear Paul, I just woke up from this amazing and odd dream. I won't bore you with detail but I was playing this very song on my piano in my dream in front of many people. Which prompted me to google the name of the writer and song I introduced it as, to come across this. To clairify I have NEVER heard of you or any of your songs before.
Nicely done particularly given the difficult task of choosing what to include in the video portion. The Beatles are missing though and they clearly had a profound impact on Americans and the rest of the world for that matter. As George Harrison said about their instant popularity following the assassination of JFK, "The world used us as an excuse to go mad."
this is absolutely beautiful. i love listening to your songs when i study :)
and today, science and technology are often future-oriented, always asking questions something like: "what would our grandchildren live with?" (ex. environment, AI/computers, etc.) and after studying some of this/thinking ahead i find your question to be very thought-provoking, as i think there is no one correct answer. gives me something to think about :)
Mr. Cardall, I was so honored to meet you at "Tell Your Story" tonight at Texas A & M. Thank you for taking the time to visit with my family afterward. I hope our paths cross again soon and I am able to share the outcome of my story with you. For now, I am content to write the story and add important moments like tonight into the details.
Thank you for your inspiration and comforting words of God's love. I loved your comment about being placed into a "time out" along the journey. God Bless.
I disagree. The only true path to happiness will be found through God's gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. The only truth we need to know is contained in HIs Word.
@pearlmaiden that is just your point of view....people do want to respect your religion but when your kind keep pushing your belief it just gets frowned upon now i know a few Christians who are pretty cool me, i'm an atheist but i don't go around telling people that my thinking is the only correct one, now i respect what you belief do see the "light" no pun intended :)
@darkjaychou Christianily is Jesus Christ crucified. It is not my point of view, it is the Truth. It is not a matter of what you believe the truth to be or even for that matter what I believe. It simply is the Truth and atheism is not going to change that fact.
@darkjaychou - How on earth did @pearlmaiden and you get going on this topic on this thread? First, I am all for this type of debate (I'm a follower of Christ myself), but on a thread like this?
My names are on the record, but I don't believe in it anymore. I imagine however that the church is a large influence on your music, and I believe the church is a major factor why I find myself enjoying your music. I still catch myself singing hymns in my head.
They would say we have not learned enough from our mistakes, and we are still making basic mistakes, instead of growing out of them. The only true path to happiness will be found through our intellect.
Beautiful sounds created by wandering human beings instill in us, the listener, great awe over our creator, Jehovah God, who is going to bring an end to the disgusting wars, sad faces, and even sickness and death we have to face now. It is a wonderful thought, and thank you for this video. It's time for us all to wake up and dig deep to find out just what it is our loving and merciful God is asking of us!
A couple of nights ago, 2 of my children performed in a piano recital. Of the 28 participants, one very talented young man played this piece. It quite moved me. Whereas I had watched the children's (and teacher's) faces, before, I found myself looking off into the distance, in deep thought, almost brought to tears, experiencing deep emotion! Thank you for creating and posting this beautiful song!
This is one of my favorites of your songs. It's really gorgeous. Pretty violin part. I like how you had images of history in the video, to increase the effect of it. I share that passion for the past with you. :)
I've had this magnificent album for over three years now. I listen to it up to this day (very often). This particular song is a favorite compelling tune which stirs one's imagination to view ones very own life story. Thank you for sharing this Mr. paul Cardall. 'Miracles'
Thanks for posting that Paul. I really enjoyed seeing that video during your show in September. It was very nice to see it again. Not surprisingly, seeing that picture of President Hinckley always seems to move me. Keep up the great work.

Beautiful music... great video. But I have to say, the quote at the end of the video is credited to the wrong name. It should read... Stephen Ambrose
