Hey there, Twin fan. I have also been giving Avon a hard time, I'm a Brewer fan. Never liked the Yanks myself. But please don't represent the upper Midwest that way. yea... its all good man, and i honestly dont hate the brewers, just the mets, indians, and if my best friend WASNT a red sux fan i wud have them at the top. we dont have to like each others teams, nor our opinions.. but in the end, its just a game. I have been a yankees fan from birth, suffered through the early 90s, then jeter came, and it was an incredible run. But this millenium its been tuff, and yea they throw alot of money into their team but its about tryin g to win. Good luck in the NL!

Haha, yes, I remember the "Dark Days" for the Yanks, late80s-early 90s with their losing seasons. G Steinbrennr was nearly losing his mind,firing managers left and right, ESPN always showing his rants, failed prospects, etc. I beleived he fired and rehired Billy Martin in the same yr during that period. But, once Jeter, Mariano, Tino Martinez, Petite,ect came up. The Yanks havent looked back since. Jetre, MO rivera, T Martinez are my favs when it comes to the Yanks.

Yea, I don't hate the Yanks. Too strong of a word, but I'm not a big fan of them either. lol I do like their players they had from the late 90s. And Don Mattingly, Winfield. Maybe its envy. lol. Well, the Brew Crew just needs to strengthened up their bench and depth, and be consistenet withe pitching, we will be fine.
Kind of tough for baseball when the Yanks arent in the mix. Its like NFL with no Cowboys in the playoffs. Lakers/NBA, NCCA FB/ Nebraska,ect

mattingly shouldve been named coach JK, they royally dicked him over, girardi doesnt know his ass from his elbow, i dont like him putting DEREK JETER in the leadoff spot, allowing Joba to remain a starter when we obviously have a retarded weak bullpen, i dont think Mattingly wouldve let them tank quite as bad. ahh, yea its not that Joe is a bad guy or nothing, but my uncle said at Umpire school in the mid 90s, they told him they had black-balled girardi for mitt-tipping pitches or somethin... Needless to say, u wont see the yankees gettin any kindof umpire love.
