I managed to keep fixing the minor faults with mine, until one day it was too much for it to boot up so i just got a new laptop and stayed clear with Acer. I got HP Compaq, seeming as I'ved had HP all my life :)

I never had any problems with my acer laptop... I just kinda dropped it. that's when it broke.

It was an good laptop. not the best but usable.

I'm going to get my friend to fix mine and were going to use it as a server.

btw... from the sounds it was making all u had to do was reinstall windows not throw it off of a porch... lol

I've been using a Dell at work for 6 years, & it's been on most of the time 24/7. It hasn't had ANY PROBLEMS!!!!!!! Damn thing's amazing.
