Well if they are still a puppy, they go through a biting stage, where their teeths grow in and they want to gnaw on everything. But I've read around google, if they happen to nip/bite you, just yell "Ouch!" or "No!" and ignore them a few minutes.

my gsd pup is 11 weeks old and her ears went up between 9-10 weeks, it is different for all dogs. if they aren't up by 4-5 months you should tape them but they will most likely go up on their own. my dog looves to bite everything including me. i have tried everything to stop her. i've heard it's just a stage, which i hope so very much.
