Was this ever proved to be the con it is. I thought it was weird that they used metres and metres of cable laying it all about the place so you couldn't see the full lengths/ends in the video.
I am just amazed that the guy did not kill himself seeing that his power came from the utility service to the building. That was very risky. Or stupid.
Worlds smallest welder, they are talking about the brain of the guy doing the welding of course. Whose going to pay for his new eye balls. I think I will stick with my proven methods.

It's not a scam it's a killing machine, if the welder will be working in a wet environment and wearing only slippers, the result :RIP. Keep out of reach to Children:(, the electrode is damn HOT (220V reference to Earth ground open circuit) Philippine safety regulation at work hehehe. Pour some water to the ground and then try using aluminum basin then dip it, let's see how it will works.
Im wondering why they just didnt use a friken saw to cut the iron with. Its propably easier to loose your eye sight and possibly burn down the whole neighbourhood.
ha hear the mopeds and scooters in the back ground ... yeah so basicly this is a power line with a electrode holder and welding rod hahahahaha ... shit i can do that i got some old wire in the yard ... im guessing the gay little box he has is something to let it not back feed into the power system ... im guessing this thing has about 480 volts going to it ... kinda hard to weld unless ur working on a battle ship or something hahahahaha
fuckin pussy get ur hands in the power supply box and get a proper connection! all the idiots need is a direct hook up to the power box, thats got to be the main for the village there livin in
It changing polarity from +to- or -to+ (50 times per second AC) and it produce potential difference from non kicking? wall wire to (non kicking) ground. It is very simple device (illegal in some countries). I do not write what is inside because electricity is not a toy!
What a deathtrap. Guy holds both ends while welding, so there's no potential difference across it, therefore it's just a dead short inside. The wire tapped directly off the mains supply and the route to earth are the only current limiters. They guys body was live at mains potential for a lot of that video, which means if he had come in contact with grounded metal he could have been electrocuted. They're selling these! Imaging an innocent buyer using one on 240 mains in a wet climate.

I assume its some type of ballast only allowing 40 or so volts to pass through. It wouldnt pass safety laws with the live side uncovered. If you touched the live terminal and then the job youd be electrocuted. AFAIK So you should cover up those terminals on your final product. Other than that theres no way to adjust the welding temperature but it may still find a market Good Luck
we certainly put a lot of emphasis on safety, some may say maybe too much.. but others would say that maybe there can never be too much safety precaution..
I think to put things into proper perspective is look at ourselves with some good
judgment! We accept fire trucks and police and emergency vehicles, speeding on other sides of roadways & through red lights..we accept daredevils and magicians in dangerous feats, yet we scold some1 for not wearing reflective clothing or steel toe shoes.

Sir! first I am not Philippine since it is a country, ignorant! I am a Filipino of Bisaya origin or from Cebu Island from a country called Philippiines.
I am not pretending to be an American like you who does not know anything about values and respect. That's why I am using "Bisoy" a slang for individual who came from Bisaya region. I am explaining why they did it for the reasons that I knew about us and why I understand the American way because I was trained in a local union about uphill pipe welding and safety precautions, got it?
That's true! Hungry stomach first before safety. Americans are blessed with so many things. Go there see for yourself and that's the time you will understand why. when you come back home you will value the belssings your country have that we do not have.
@BisoyChef55 yes we are blessed, but i know they have safety equiptment in your country. answer my question, Who will feed your hungry stomach when you go blind from not wearing a welding helmet? Or who will feed your children when you are hospitalized from being electrocuted? The answer is nobody will! There is no excuse for not following proper safety measures and your arrogance and ignorance is unexcuseable
looks fake and if it was real there no adjusting the arc and watch the vidio again there not even holding an arc long enough to run a soild weld, this is why i only buy stuff made in the U,S,A
See it first personally before you jump into conclusion and cursed. They weld anything and just simply grind it if the client wishes or ordered a clean finish. Beads doesn't matter. Most of the time they don't even grind it since it will bear an additional cost for electric consumption. Do not compare a 3rd world country way of surviving with a country full of blessing. When you have eight kids in your home waiting for you to bring rice to cook even without anything on it is just fine. Can you?
Talking about "beads'" s out of a question 4 a fact that this welders are not welding pressured pipes or structural welding as what we have done here in U.S. they r just a common welders in Philippines that you can see on a daily basis. They did it to make a living and they don't even know what are welding certification is all about. Safety? That is there last concerned. When the stomach of their kids are empty fathers are doing the best they can to feed a large family. See it first before you
They simply use their eyelids by just closing it. Can't afford my friend. Philippines is just like that unlike here in U.S. that you have "Harborfreight" carrying a lot of China welding tools very affordable ones. Do you know about that?
This machine wahatever it is made off can actually weld. I almost bought one. The the ground is earth. you can pour water on the ground and hammer a metal rod and that would be your earth ground. How deep/good is the ground, controls the strength of the arc. on the vid, they used a gate for ground. Granted they did dangerous things, it was meant to show what the machine can do and operate on a very basic level. If you dont know whats happening, why curse? why not politely ask?
Obviously fake as he attached BARE wires to the outside terminals of the 'box'. When he put it in water with his hand it should have shorted out and probably badly shocked him. It didn't so there is no current going through those wires to the box.
3 world country or not the TAG does say "Welding Machine" and a weld consist of a bead of metal either infused with or without a filler material at lest 1/4 inch or more in length. Not once in this video does the operator lay down any kind of bead or weld. Looks as if the operator was just cutting or gouging the metal which can be done with nothing more than what was seen here minus the shiny little box he used. I will say that it's one step up from "Macgyvers" jumper cables and penny welder
Wear a helmet and a pair gloves. If this company is worth a damn, they will see to it that you have safety equipment even when advertising thier "product".
yall is some cray ass sons a bitches................... your fuckin koreans just now getting into half ass welding and we affraid yall got bombs? psssshhht its a welder not a cutting torch.. (if it qualifies as that)
Nope! They closed their eyes in the absence of protection they have only their eyelids available and cannot afford to buy one. Do you know about that?
I am a Filipino too! I learned welding here in U.S. understand all about the importance of safety. As well as, understanding why this Filipino welder are doing it differently in contrast to U.S. standard. The cursing individuals here maybe had never gone out of their country and see by themselves why they are doing it? Only one word I can define why that is "Survival" these welders have to make money and bring rice or corn grits at home to feed their large families the rest is
hi my name is angelo i was wondering if such machine is for sale or is it home made i see a tag on it but i cant make out any info i would appreciate a little info thanks
If im looking at this correctly they are using positive/negative, however their negative is coming from the ground. also the water is insulated by the ceramic container/dish.
We do not understand what is "Rednecks" is all about in Philippines and we don't care about discrimination of skin colors. The only discrimination that we all aware of is between "haves and have not" as far as skin colors is concerned there are red skins, yellow skins, white skins, black skins and brown skins which are the Filipinos not Philipinos! Philippines is the country and the residents are "Filipinos" for your info ignorant!
It s not a transformer Sir! That s the main switch of the entire house connection of they called it "Plangka" in a common residential house in Philippines you cannot find a "Breaker" or a "Transformer". Transformer can be found only in the electric post provided by the electric company or source. Breakers can only be found in a commercial buildings or in a newly built apartments. But in an ordinary residential homes "\Plangka" s the typical main switch that controlled all. Clear?
Why Does Most People Don't Just Appreciate Filipino Talent in inventing things!?.,hey we invented the first car that runs on water, stick that on your bird head's...
WOW, this is awesome!! he's breaking pretty much every single safety regulation know to man since 1904. Just when I though it couldn't get any worse he takes it out the bucket of water and puts it in his pocket!
That device is not a transformer. It's a high power RESISTOR, used as a ballast. He cools it by dunking it in the bucket of water. This guy is very foolish because of all the hazards he exposes himself to. There is the electrocution hazard from the live wires and from the welding rod itself. There is also the hazard from ultraviolet radiation during welding that could blind him. Very dangerous things he is playing with!!!
oh my God, Elecricity in one hand, water the other. He's not going to live long enough to get Arc eye (no mask) let alone killing him self through whatever other things. !!!
no u stupid fuckwits... these dudes are fucking geniuses... look @ 6:33 they show the ground (steel gates)... dunked it in the water (electrecution-free)... no helmet(fucking awesome welder)...
Okay so he is taping into his home power supply that has a ground built into it. he is dunking the transformer I would guess in the water to cool it down. and you are correct he is looking away or he is closing his eyes once he is about to touch the arch to the metal. its really cool but pretty crazy but some people don't have the luxury of buying a welder but need to fix things. I say congratulations on figuring out what it does and I would say the their iq is reasonably high.
Was this ever proved to be the con it is. I thought it was weird that they used metres and metres of cable laying it all about the place so you couldn't see the full lengths/ends in the video.

BisoyChef55 1 year ago
@BisoyChef55 I wouldn't even turn on a welder without a welding mask. Those guys are idiots regardless.

@dexrocker99

Idiot.
If im looking at this correctly they are using positive/negative, however their negative is coming from the ground. also the water is insulated by the ceramic container/dish.

Were not the only country with rednecks, Theres a bunch of philipinos rednecks!!
howlandexcavating 1 year ago
@howlandexcavating

Apparently you guys have no idea what electrical safety looks like

NickSayle 1 year ago
@NickSayle Actually this is the Philippines... Brave dudes, I don't think I'd climb up a metal ladder and stick a wire in a transformer!
AtienzaLouie 1 year ago
@AtienzaLouie
Clear?

WOW, this is awesome!! he's breaking pretty much every single safety regulation know to man since 1904. Just when I though it couldn't get any worse he takes it out the bucket of water and puts it in his pocket!

Haha... give him 6-12 hours and he'll start feeling those flash burns...
quarky2001 1 year ago
That device is not a transformer. It's a high power RESISTOR, used as a ballast. He cools it by dunking it in the bucket of water. This guy is very foolish because of all the hazards he exposes himself to. There is the electrocution hazard from the live wires and from the welding rod itself. There is also the hazard from ultraviolet radiation during welding that could blind him. Very dangerous things he is playing with!!!

no u stupid fuckwits... these dudes are fucking geniuses... look @ 6:33 they show the ground (steel gates)... dunked it in the water (electrecution-free)... no helmet(fucking awesome welder)...
brijmaun21 1 year ago
Okay so he is taping into his home power supply that has a ground built into it. he is dunking the transformer I would guess in the water to cool it down. and you are correct he is looking away or he is closing his eyes once he is about to touch the arch to the metal. its really cool but pretty crazy but some people don't have the luxury of buying a welder but need to fix things. I say congratulations on figuring out what it does and I would say the their iq is reasonably high.
scimanyo 1 year ago
ok, it's cool how it works but.... OMG man how did you survive long enough to get this thing to work
HyRisen 1 year ago
That's unbelievable!! Nice product!! And he's not looking at the weld, he's looking away. The fact it has no ground to it, is sick.
