hey! could you give more details about how you plug the 2 machines so that the tr triggers the juno's arpeggio? i have a sh101 and a 707, i guess it's the same thing. thanks!
Good use of clock in of Juno6.Well it hasn't got DCB like on Juno60 so you've got no choice but this vid proves that some fun can be had just with the clock in.I just love this clip, the sound quality is perfect.Cool stuff!.
I'm getting a juno 6 with a midi converter, do you know if can be secuenced via Ableton live? thanks. nice vid! :) someday i'll post my juno w my 909.
Ok, maybe i did't explain myself. I was talkin about the JUNO cappabilities of midi issues not Ableton's, My question is does the midi converter of the juno receive the information correctly? (notes, velocity, tempo etc.) not just play and stop.
No modifications. I'm using the arpeggio clock input. I use the "hold" button on the Juno so my hand doesn't have to be on it all the time.
I'm triggering the arpeggio clock with the "Accent" clock output of the 808. With the accent knob turned all the way down, it has no effect on the drum sounds but still outputs a clock to the Juno.
that would be great man! you could do the Youtube guide to programming the 808 :) I'd love to have one of those machines, and some analog synths like an oberheim or a CS-80 or something...Im just using 808 samples in NI Battery at the moment and software synthesizers. Thanx Man! keep those beats fresh n funky :)
you lucky git! this is awesome :P next time though, please get a better camera angle.. pointing directly down at the 808 so it fills the screen :)I want to see whats going on while your programming
The end sounds so New Order, very nice!!

Just put a trigger-out from the TR707 in the EXT.CLCK in the SH101.

U got it!! I'm jealous as hell of your 808, but I was lucky enough to get a 303!

How much did you pay for the machine? Nice beat

Hey nice to here a proper instrument and some proper sick beats.
Im using a Korg Electribe to sample the 808 sound, does the juno have pattern programs or do you have to do it on the fly? cheers

The Juno has a simple arpeggio.

Mentioning an 808 and Juno6 in one sentence with some kiddie-toys like mc303 is blasphemic. OH NO, now I did it as well!!!1
Just kidding but if you get the chance do ALWAYS stick with the original machine!

Cool minimal vibe going on for just f23king around! I liked it lots.

are you using a sequencer(with the arpeggio clock in thing) or is your juno midified?

Are you playing Trans Am's White Rino?
shoontz 5 years ago
Not intentionally. I was just winging it.

Are u using external effects compression or something ?
TR0jAX 5 years ago
No compression but maybe a little plate reverb. Also a little chorus on the Juno. Actually you can just see my Quadraverb2 in the background there.

ok. I'll rig something up for a better angle. I was thinking of doing another vid explaining how it's programmed.
