I was going to college for the pass two years and some sem's I wouldn't do to bad, others weren't so good. My financial aid was not granted to me this comming semester. So I was feeling down, hopless, I felt as though I was being left behind. This has opend my eyes to see that this is just a temp. and that I can still persue my dream

Thank you so much for sharing! You've been my inspiration since I saw your weight maintenance video earlier this May when you were rocking that Gold eyeshadow (LOL). This video is a breath of fresh air for me because I can relate to a lot of the stuff you said. Lately I have kind have been discouraged because my grades in college weren't high enough for me to stay in this nursing program we have here and I've only been in college for a year so I feel like I wasn't given a chance to show what I'm made of. And like you were saying how you were a smart girl in HS and took AP and Honors class and were basically getting by, it was the exact same way for me but
@BeautifulBrwnBabyDol I find myself coming to your videos when I need a good talking to. It's so easy for me to get lazy and lose my focus. Thanks for sharing these videos with us!
This video means a lot to me. I completed 107 hours at LSU, but I haven't finished. I want my degree with everything in my but I don't feel as if my level of knowledge is equivalent to those around me. I feel as if I have failed bc I have watched all of friends that graduated high school with honors as I did succeed and obtain multiple degrees and I haven't gotten one. I am just praying for guidance. Thank you for the encouraging words.

I really enjoy every aspect of your videos. Some youtubers just be doin to much and they end up spreading themselves thin, but not you. I like the part in the intro wher you go "on a quest for...amazing" I always sing along with that part. Thank you for being so transparent. I felt bad because my GPA was horribly low my freshman year, the fact that yours was lower than mine and you now have a PhD encourages me. Keep doing what your doing because its helping me if no one else.
I love your videos! You always inspire and motivate me to do better. Whenever I want to give up or feel sick of not being successful. You always put a video up and I feel like you are talking directly to me. Thank you so much and keep on allowing God to use you to bless us.
Oh my goodness- what a blessing to have stumbled upon this video! "It seems like everyone around you is succeeding and you're standing still." You took the words out of my mouth and vocalized my most unspeakable fear :/ This is definitely the inspiration I needed, as a master's student preparing for GREs and applications to doctoral programs. Thanks so much for sharing- it not only validated that I'm not crazy as well as provided great tips. I say stay blessed because I know you are blessed!
Hi BBBDol, after u rec'vd ur doctorate degree, became successful in ur profession, and lost weight beyond ur goal, did u feel fulfilled in ur life? Is ur life complete now and devoid of all voids? I was also wondering if once a person makes it to the "top" what's next? Or once u meet ur goal what's next? What r ur thoughts and experiences in regards to these statements?

Wow I really LOVED this video. So inspiring and thanks for being transparent on how you became successful. Whenever the question is asked to people who have become successful, how they did it etc... Dr. Ellis-Hervey, thanks for being honest, sharing your experience, and inspiring us. Because you didn't have to take time out of your day to motivate, but you do. I appreciate you so much for what you do!
