Melons & Pumpkins:

By placing seeds, the stem will start to grow. When the stem is complete, it will eventually place melons/pumpkins on adjacent farmland. Once it has placed one, it will attach to it & not be able to place another until the melon/pumpkin is destroyed. Pumpkin blocks drop the pumpkin itself, Melon blocks drop 4-5 melon slices.

Food Poisoning:

You start to slowly loose food(Vomiting?)

Raw Chicken & Rotten Flesh have a chance of poisoning you.

Hunger Meter & Health Bar

When you are down to zero, you start loosing health. When at 9 chickens, you slowly regain health. When at 10, you gain health faster. You loose chickens faster while sprinting(which is activated by double tapping w(default key))

Melons, you're doing it wrong!

The melon plants need an empty farmland block next to it in order to grow a fruit. The plant itself indeed takes a couple of ingame days to fully grow and produce fruits, but after that you only harvest the fruit and the plant can produce another fruit pretty quick.

Pumpkin seeds are impossible to get right now. Mellon seeds are found in abandoned mines. 1 melon slice is 1 seed. 9 melon slices makes 1 melon.

You'd think they would work like all other foods (that it takes a while to eat them and they only replenish the hunger bar, no hearts) but that would kind of defeat the purpose of at least the golden apple, unless it completely refills the whole bar as opposed to other foods that only heal between one and four hearts, depending on if it's cooked or not.
