  • thought firemen axe weren't that sharp

  • Wow.. First time I've ever been into a TV show this much.. Just watched it awhile ago and I had to see it again..

  • One of my favourite scenes, hank fucks people up

  • fuck! hallow point busted him

  • 1:54

  • Fuck me I thought I was gonna have a heart attack!

  • No one can stop Hank Schrader!!

Dean Norris is on a good way to be the next Chuck Norris.

  • this scene and the don eladio scenes are definitely my favorites in the show. holy isshhhh

  • I literally shouted "YESSS" when he shot that dipshit in the head.

  • Hank is such a badass.

  • By the end of this scene I was shaking. That was absolutely... I don't even know how to describe it. The entire episode made it much better, but even the scene on its own is powerful enough!

  • Dat Quality

  • Greatest scene in Breaking Bad

  • Right at 2:23 start playing Frankenstein by Edgar winter group.

  • this is the craziest thing i have ever seen on youtube jesus christ

  • Just finished this episode and this is my facial expression: O_O

  • Hank is the fucking NAILS!!!!

  • The axe wouldn't have stuck in the pavement. It ruined the scene, I actually burst out laughing.

  • Hank is awesome !

  • Comment removed

  • That's why i drive a jeep.

  • "The best scene in the series"? Seriously? Where a notorious gangster chooses not to finish his brother killer but go back to take his axe and give time to his victim to react? At least in Game of Thrones they have the balls to kill some of the main characters when they create such situations and when the plot needs it.

  • My sister was watching Gossip Girl, so I told her to watch this clip and then tell me which was better. She doesn't watch Gossip Girl anymore.

  • Shot 4 times and didn't die WTF?

  • @lRomez It was 5 times. But there's an earlier scene where they buy bulletproof vests.

  • John McClane ain't got nothin' on Hank Schrader.

  • Best episode of the entire series in my opinion.

  • TV at its best

  • oh god how this reminds me of the attempted hit on tony in the sopranos... oh the glorious flashbacks...

  • @ProducShuns yeah I just watched that scene again. intense, but tony got an immediate boost to his mood afterward, not a damaged back :(

  • @georgek19 tis true.

  • To six members of cartel do not like the video.

  • fun fact the actor who plays hank is named Dean Norris brother of chuck norris

  • haha the clock says 3:07 and its season 3 episode 7

  • @ericmarshall19 That's why Breaking Bad is amazing. Always have little Easter Eggs.

  • The blade hitting the pavement is the best part of this scene.

  • Great show! as adictive as blue meth!

  • 1:54 boombox datsik remix

  • this scene made me shit my pants

  • +1 for black talon's.

  • At the start of this series, I disliked Hank more than any of the other characters. I saw him as a typical, gun toting redneck 'merican. But by the time this moment rolls around, Hank is the only person who's trying to do the right thing anymore and the last character in this series that I wanted to die. It was also satisfying to see the end of that Mexican prick. Haha.

  • @JamesKernaghan92 I know! I was like, I wanted him to succeed and make his drop out of el paso meaningful. I understood his fear and I wanted him to make his investigation count. I felt so bad when he realized he'd been tricked at the hospital and totally understood his rage and fear for his wife even afterwards, leading him to attack jesse.

  • A bit contrived, but still absolutely awesome!

  • I stood up and cheered and fist pumped so hard at this. Hank has to be one of the more interesting characters in the show, god i'm still shaking at how great that ending was

  • @Ondori412 lmao same thing we me man i was so pumped

  • Best. Scene. EVER.

  • Best scene of the series so far.

  • @stbeecher just a bit fucked up when you see the very last few seconds of this episode and there was just a massive shooting on a parking lot right by a mall or whatever. And some people are just having a chat while 2 people are bleeding to death and one has been brutally murderd! What a big mistake by the film makers

  • If ever a man could take on both of The Cousins at the same time while unarmed, it would be Hank Schrader.

  • who called him

  • @hamza721 how could it be tyrus sounds more like mike

  • when he was in the parking lot I was yelling at the screen "NO! ITS TOO HAPPY! he still has people out to kill him he's so about to die!" still, it was an awesome scene

  • hurry up 2012, need to watch the 5th season

  • anyone know where I can buy that axe? (serious question)

  • probably one of the best scenes ever on a tv show...

  • never had tv got me on the edge of my seat until now

  • @dorse09 Hell yeah. I think it worked even better because I honestly expected Hank was going to die - they managed to do such a great job crafting his situation that I completely bought this was his last stand. I feel bad for anyone who stumbled on this scene without seeing the buildup to it.

  • before this scene i wasnt really a big fan of hank but now i am really hoping he comes out on top at the end of it all.

  • Why is it that the full episodes for season 3 aren't on here like season's 1 and 2?

  • Pause at 1:25. You can see one of the cousins behind the rear window of the car as the bypasser in the foreground walks off screen.

  • play yakety sax, play from 1:54, LOL REALLY HARD!

  • 5:24 - 5:32

Could you fucking imagine walking up to that scene in a parking lot?, I think i would feint.

  • @TheMarkTheShark86

Yeah, it truly is a shame Vince Gilligan and his amazing writing team keep coming up with amazing scenes like this, Isn't it?.

    Retard.

  • Anyone notice that the clock said 3;07 when this is season 3 episode 7. That's a cool little easter egg

  • any reason why a so called official amc video is 240p.......

  • The fucking terminator brothers.

  • Fuck that was tense!

  • YOUR FACE GOD DAMMIT!!!!

  • goosebumps 1:12 - 2:22

  • 1. Play "Tv on the radio - DLZ"

    2. Play this video from 1:54

    3. Enjoy :D

  • @MrRecoify you did not just post that ive been doing that forever! great minds

  • @MrRecoify La la la laaaaaa la la la la.

  • @MrRecoify Just the best man!!

  • @MrRecoify Incredible. Just in credible.

  • @MrRecoify the timing of the song is perfect even cuts out at the right time

  • @MrRecoify Do you know if this was intended to be a soundtrack to the scene? I know they use the song in another scene with Walt at about the same point in the season.

  • @MrRecoify

    wasent so good

  • Hank should have shot him in the head the first time. He just put 5 rounds into a bulletproof vest. And caused himself to get shot 2 more times. DEA agents should be trained for head shots.

  • @NorwegianGodofRock69 a head shot in real life is extremely difficult at range. even being the slightest bit off and you miss your target. the body is a much larger target. anybody in that situation would've shot someone in the chest to down them.

  • @twistedkatana1 Yeah, he couldn't have anticipated that he would have a bulletproof vest. And obviously most law enforcement aren't trained to aim for the head. Plus it would have have been way to easy and it would have been contrary to the plot. But basically if he did shoot him in the head, he wouldn't have been crippled so badly.

  • @twistedkatana1

Not motha fucking Hank. He's too much of a bad ass to care about your laws of reality.

  • @twistedkatana1 Oh yeah and Hank did go center mass at first. Five or six rounds. The guy had on a vest

  • this scene makes no sense. When the cousin goes to reload in the parking lot the bullet falls out of his pocket no where near where Hank is standing. Then he shoots Hank and he falls and the bullet appears on the ground near Hank? How the fuck did the bullet travel from the parking lot to behind the car where Hank was standing? What a crock of shit

  • @pdog109 Watch it again. The bullet falls behind that ford truck, where the cousin is standing when it falls out of his pocket. Then the cousin walks beside the truck and Hank walks up behind him standing behind the truck where the bullet fell.

  • @pdog109 On the contrary. The scene has a lot of sense. Watch at 3 minutes 49. The image of a skull, and the ball has already announced the death of the guy. Nothing is left to chance in this series. Nothing!

  • @pdog109 such a nitpicker

  • @pdog109 lol

  • it sounds so sinister when he grabs the axe, i love it

  • why did Hank just drive away after receiving warning? and who called him? thanks for enlightening me.

  • @yunyi2009gmail I think he was scared for one and maybe thought it was a joke? It hasn't been confirmed who called him yet.

  • @yunyi2009gmail I'm pretty sure it was Gus who called to warned Hank. I believe that Gus worked it out with the Cartel somehow that it would be more beneficial to kill the DEA agent who is closing in on them than to kill Walt (the Cook) who was their original target because Hector thought it was Walt who killed Tuco when in reality it was Hank who killed him. I could be wrong but that is what I recall.

  • that axe was so sharp... it fucking got suck in asphalt. p.s. thoose two were to best bad asses ever.

  • Just finished this episode and immediately had to come on here and favorite it. So so so intense..!

  • INTENSE. HOLY SHIT. DIE BITCH NIGGA.

  • Hank went Soap MacTavish mode. XD

  • Most intense six minutes of my life.

  • Great scene, poor quality. And thats official?

  • The criminals are always fucking retarded in this show.

  • notice how OfficialAMC has funny tags for this video? :D

  • Who called hank before the attack?

  • They crammed as much possible tension into five minutes as humanly possible.

The writers are amazing. 10/10 Breaking Bad forever!

  • This scene is realistic up until after 4:15

  • @xXHitmanXxz Yeah, I agree about that part, but come on, if you were an evil hitman who was used to killing people, wouldnt you wanna find pleasure in killing the guy who took out your cousin and twin brother? I mean, it would make me feel so much better to cut off hank's limbs one at a time until the cops got there... Just sayin' :p

  • This is one of the best scenes Ive seen in any drama for a long time

  • this scene made very little sense tucos cousins acted like robots not trying to avoid getting hurt and were both taken out by an out of shape DEA with no weapon. I'm sorry but that is way too unrealistic for me

  • @dellophine Out of shape? The show isn't real but did you see what Hank did to Jesse Pinkman or his infamous bar fight where he took the two drug runners on, Hank is a beast. Fat doesn't automatically mean weak.

  • @xXHitmanXxz the bar fight scene is was also silly and when he jesse never fought back the only reason he won those fights was cause it was written in a script. and he is out of shape! I never said he doesn't look strong but look at that fight scene again it's silly!

  • @dellophine @xXHitmanXxz I don't think that's fair to say, the guy is a pscho with a penchant for axes, it's very believable.

  • @LiamCrowley1990 no it's not, they are suppose to be professionals and they made a bunch of mistake. Trust me a house wife could have planned a better hit.

  • @dellophine Coming from all your expertise on watching action films I guess? They're not portrayed as great hitmen. They're portrayed as unrelenting, sociopathic, unyielding, axe-wielding murderers. They're not like Mike, they're not meticulous. They hack people to death with axes. When he goes back to grab an axe, that his completely on point with the character, especially after what Hank did to his brother. It's not about how well they could've planned at all.

  • @LiamCrowley1990 I wouldn't say expertise on action films although i have seen alot but more on my knowledge of combat, strategy, crime, and just plain common sense is why I the scene isn't believable to me. also they were sorta portrayed as hitmen how they stalked walter, gather information true their not like mike but they weren't idiots but in that scene they were retarded. look I'm sorry if hank is favorite character and this is your favorite scene but it's silly to me.

  • @dellophine Look, you're the type of person who uses the word "retarded" to describe things so I'm quite comfortable saying you're not worth your salt in film knowledge. Going to film school doesn't mean anything, a lot of people who don't go to film school know more than your average student. Also, what type of sentence is 'the reason hank won the fight and stopped those guys is cause it was written in a script'? It's on fucking TV, of course it has a script.

  • @LiamCrowley1990 ask yourself how likely it is for that scene to actually happen? how likely is it that the bar fight would happen that way? the reason hank won the fight and stopped those guys is cause it was written in a script. as a film student i analyse films all the time. I gotten use to seeing things that most people ignore in films so if you think I'm being crazy right or something and the scene is great to you thats fine i'm saying to me it's not.

  • @dellophine I'm not saying you're wrong, but if I wanted to watch something that was 100% likely, I'd just watch the news :) I thought it was a great scene - it probably helped that I'm no expert, and I don't analyze the scenes to death - I just enjoy it for what it is.....

  • @lpr8993 That's fine. it's cool i love the show it's just this scene and the bar fight that really bug me. mostly cause i don't see hank as being that capable of pulling those things off. but maybe it's me i didn't analyse it to death either if i did that i could find something wrong in alot of scenes this one bugged me immediately. thanks for the little discussion though atleast I didn't end up cursing you out like most of these youtube debates go

  • @dellophine The bar fight is perfectly plausible as Hank is having an "episode" due to his PTSD. This scene is completely on point with it's characters. If you think after seeing what Hank done to his brother that the cousin wouldn't go and get his axe after nearly putting Hank down with his gun, then you don't know anything about film or TV. That scene is spot on. The plausibility of that happening in real life is low because BB is a fictional program, in case you were confused.

  • @LiamCrowley1990 wow I actually tried to end this argument and you decide to come back and just attack me. i said that if you like thats cool I just don't. let me tell you something one of the things we learn in film is not everybody is gonna like the same thing no matter what. I was saying the scene took me out of the show for a bit I still like the show. if your gonna come after me some more. i won't respond you alright up to this point.

  • @dellophine Not come back and attack you, come back and set you straight maybe. You're taking some high ground because you're a film student but you don't seem to know anything. What is it you notice that other people don't? Because, above, you say they're professionals and a house-wife could plan a better hit. The point is, they don't act like professionals at all. They're lose cannons. One of the things in LIFE is that not everything will like the same thing, not just film school.

  • @LiamCrowley1990

Great point. We don't know what the cousins do for a living. We do know that they're amoral and psycopathically violent, with a flair for the dramatic.

As for the bar fight, it's not all that silly. It's pretty clear: Hank knows how to fight, and can hit friggin' hard. The two chumps at the bar don't.

Not to mention, plausibility is not at all tied to quality. Breaking Bad isn't a realistic series. Never has been. That's not its point. Film school should teach that.

  • @Piecesof8 Thank you. It's TV fiction. The key word is fiction, things that wouldn't happen in real life can happen, that's the point. I don't know why some people don't get that. Don't get me wrong, the realism of a lot of scenes is partly why I love BB. Like how Walt tells his family about his cancer is very real, unlike all the other soppy, Hollywood-esque ways that happen in film.

  • @Piecesof8 They don't know but they hint at it. the come from a family of crime, they look like twin versions of the main character from the game hitman you can sort of geuss that their either himen or muscle for a drug lord. also most of the show is realistic. again everybody isn't gonna like the same thing. thoses scene took me out of the show for a bit if it didn't for you that FINE. i was just explain why it bugged me. relax

  • @dellophine

There have been a few scenes like that that sort of break the realism and it's usually to establish characters as being superhuman in their own way. For example, the scene in which Walt sits Gus down and lays shit out and Gus realizes that Walt is absolutely brilliant and comes to see him as a potential threat, or when Walt blows up Tuco's pad with the fake meth or when hank fights the two guys in the bar. The Salamanca twins were basically straight out of a crime drama comic.

  • @dellophine This hit isn't professional, this hit is revenge.

  • @xXHitmanXxz I agree, Hank is boss.

  • Last stand................

  • This is a great scene. Even knowing how it all ends, I'm still glued to the screen.

  • one of the best moments in TV, ever.

  • "No, muy fácil"

  • Is there an version of this scene without the sound effects? I love the ambient music. So tense

  • what a fuckin badass!!!

  • 5:20

Aw, he shot Marvin in the face...

  • 5:19 he falls to the right 5:26 he is on his left

  • 5:21 he falls to the right 5:26 he is on his left

  • I only have one qualm with this scene, but it may be justified. Wouldn't that one cousin who Hank shot at least be knocked down from all those shots? I don't see how he could still stand.

  • @WolfataDoor A normal person wearing a bulletproof vest would probably lay down and cringe in pain after being shot in the abdomen so many times, but these two(I'd assume) have been trained to withstand pain. If your speaking of the velocity of the bullets knocking him down by pure force, that myth has been busted.

  • i literally yelled yes when he shot him in the head. fucking awesome and amazing tv show.

  • this scene was fucking intense...

  • @tingly7654321 Damn... I came here to say exactly that... I was on the edge of my seat and breathing deeply the whole time... First time I've ever reacted like that to a scene...

    Fucking intense.

  • I love how they just shoot that random guy

  • EPIC

  • Hank was in last stand.

  • @2Trill2ILL Hahahahah that was funny

  • Sorry! let me correct myself. He would go to jail for 5-10 years for murder. You know, like all the other murderers in Canada.

  • @Badsniper08 Unless Canada's justice system is that flawed, i doubt it. There are witnesses, parking lot surveillance, the fact that they initiated the conflict, hank being part of a gov't organization, them being known felons, retaliation through self defense, etc. There are way too many factors just to haul him off to jail for murder.

  • @BigPimp14

Yeah, Canada's justice system is that bad. Self defense with a firearm is a no go, regardless of the circumstances.

  • Shredded his head like a cabbage :D

  • I think what made this scene even greater was

the fact that there was no music playing. Makes it feel much more real.

Rather than a random rock song.

  • You know what's funny? If this happened in Canada, Hank would go to jail for life.

  • @Badsniper08 er... nah.

  • @Badsniper08 Killing awesome characters should very well be punishable.

  • @Badsniper08 Seriously? For self defense?

  • The second twin's reloading method of switching his gun to his weak hand and then retreiving the mag and inserting it with his strong hand is very inefficient and unusual for a professional killer. Just saying.

  • @BigDThe0G Maybe he's ambidextrous.

  • @bradm1975 I don't think that would have much to do with it. I am simply saying it is much quicker and efficient to keep the gun properly gripped in your strong hand, and then retreiving and inserting the mag with your weak hand. Anyone with some practice can do it in like 2 seconds. He was such an easy target fumbling around the way he was.
