I have never seen these guys in concert but would like to. I listened to their cassette for hours & hours back in the 80's. I was young & in love during that time and these songs bring back those memories. I'm not still with the guy but still like the music I liked 20 & 30 years ago. The lead singer has gained a few pounds but I'd rather see them heavier & not on drugs/booze.

We just saw Loverboy and REO Speedwagon together in Houston. They really Rocked! Reno can still hit the highs! I don't care how he looks, His Heart is still there and that is what matters! God Bless Him and Keep on Rockin'!
This will be my last comment on Loverboy.Seen a lot of Fat and old comments all over here.I understand that but I like the way Loverboy has not given up.I also watched a lot of their past videos here and it brought me back to my young days.The early 80's were a perfect recreation of the 1950's rock era and Loverboy was at the top of that.I hope to the good God almighty they do it again as the music today sucks.I would rather have fat and old and just hear good stuff than no talent junk.
I find it interesting that everyone is discussing how Mike looks, and only a few are discussing how he sounds. Isn't music about sound, or am I wrong here? Oh, that's right, everyone os wrapped around the axel about the asinine American Idol and it's equally stupid partners in Canada/Japan/UK anywhere else they are stupid enough to let it play....I forgot, you have to be pretty in order to sound good....
If only the Idol contestants had half the skill and talent of these guys...
I'm not going to be a jerk and give a -1 like so many others. I do agree that they aren't what they used to be in terms of everything; however, I disagree about quitting. I'd like to see Loverboy in concert like this or worse! He's still got a good voice. I'm sure he has to get used to singing again. Wait until he's used to his new voice; I'm sure they'll rock the roofs off of houses just like they used to! In the mean time, they still rock!!!! Loverboy forever!!!!!

What happened to Mike Reno?! He looked great in the Loverboy (promo) videos, but THIS is UNACCEPTABLE! In my opinion, Mike looks more like a "white gangsta'/rapper!"

Who cares if they played in a mall? That's kind of cool actually.
I saw them last night and there were thousands of people there. Don't tell me their day is done. They are one of the finest live acts out there.
