When they said she had her ears and nose cut off.It reminded me that I had previously thought she looked like she may be from the Middle East.They do like to cut off their women' noses and ears when its an Honor Killing or for punishment for not obeying.I am sure others have thought about this too.

I have also read where they are starting to compare DNA to databanks from people who came off the Mayflower and things like that.I know they are close to identifying one killer that is linked to the mayflower and they even think he has the same last name.So this will become more useful when more people donate their DNA to be tested for Family Tree stuff.

I have recently started scouring the Doe network when ever I have nothing to do and more people should start.It is heart breaking but this is how some of these get solved.What shocked me even more is all the people who get ran over and killed and they never find out who they are.I never expected that there would be so many who died like that.I had no idea how many does there are out there.It is painful to think about. I started doing this because of a missing person from my town.

I was a little off on the dates - was going off the date on the newspaper found with her remains - looks like she was thought to have been deceased for only 24 hours when they found her body in december - so that would mean Beth Doe would have just found out she was pregnant right about the same time Nancy Kirkpatrick disappeared. Again - I can only assume this has been investigated, but I have to wonder - I do hope they discover her identity because someone somewhere is missing her:(

This is probably crazy, but I did a quick search for missing persons 1976 - this woman seems to match the description somewhat - disappeared in April - right as she would have been about 4 months pregnant and starting to show - parents said she embraced the 'hippie' movement - perhaps she ran off with someone to PA? I'm sure this has been looked into?

With all our modern technology and science, we should be able to atleast find something out. They are great at solving cold cases these days. I hope they solve this one.

ok read this case by chance ? the markings on her hand seem like the info for a farm tractor or weather satellite if i were looking for someone who may know who did this I'd begin with local farms in the area. also, there was a news paper found in the case. I'd look for the subscriber to the 1976 Washington Post within 20 miles of that area. also the markings could be the road like WSR 54-57-45

Was the race of the baby's father ever disclosed? If not, why not? Were DNA tests ever done on the baby?

this is horrible.. the person who did this was fucked up in the head I mean cut her legs and arms off and put them in a suit case!!! it's inhuman, hopefully she goes home soon. May she rest in peace.
