@firerock2245 Actually, this film was first done with Chaney in 1925. Then remade in 1929 (All same acting). But this one is lower quallity and seems faster in speed, so this one is the unmasking from 1925. Their right.

This scene is so heartbreaking! They first started out as great friends (As she mentions in the book). Then Erik went through all the trouble of giving her voice lessons, which made her a celebrity; He brought her to his home -- all because he loved her. What a shame that she couldn't see past his ugliness.

This is one of two versions that are apart of the "Ultimate Edition The Phantom of the Opera" DVD. This score was composed by Carl Davis and the other version, which is from the 1925 New York Preview version, that score is done by Jon Mirasalis.
