tmnt question?? leo vs shredder (1990)

at that part you either edited it or have a wierd version. My original vhs version that part sounds sweet.

THe reason for the sound is because Leo hits Shredder at an angle so he hits both his arm and his shoulder spikes.

ya i was about to say that too lolz obviously shredder is wearing chainmail armor, which is pretty much strong against stab attacks but still hurts... much like bullet proof vests

dude, its a sound effect. thats it. its supposed to simulate the metal on metal action of Leo's Katana on Shredder's armor. there, i've saved you from 17 years of frustration.

I agree, that it was a sound effect, cause at the very end if you listen closely, or have the sub titles on, you can hear or see that Raph say "Bitchin" right before they say cowabunga.
