Anyone who doesn't recognize the quality of a schecter guitar is a complete amatuer in the world of guitars. I own many guitars in the $1000-$3000 range and my $600 C-1 Plus plays just as well as all of them after i lowered the action a little bit. The build quality of these guitars is equal to guitars that cost many times the price. Gibson's "cheap" models like the SG and LP faded and studio which run about the same as a C-1 (actually a little more) play almost as well as my $300 schecter omen6

What's the deal with the flat matte finish these days? I guess nobody likes shiny high gloss guitars anymore. It really gives the guitar a hard edge, industrial look. I suppose it doesn't show finger prints or grime either. Very nice looking. But I still like that shiny look :)

I own a Schecter Synyster custom and I personally think it plays amazing, and is easily the best guitar I have played and it sounds great no matter what style of music you play.

Just got a Blackjack C-8 ATX dec last year, and its a really great guitar. I was very pleasantly surprised by the build quality, playability and tone of it. I'd definitely buy Schecter again :) \m/ \m/

Just a shame they're so difficult to get a hold of over here :(

yeah i guess i cant speak for everybody else but i own the 2011 blackjack atx-c1 and the 2011 damien-6 and i love both those guitars! there's absolutely nothing wrong with aesthetics, nothing wrong with electronics and been 100% happy with my puchases. i can honestly say i will never buy a gibson or fender again. and altho schecters new catalog may not be as impressive as recent years, thats no reason to doubt them! Thumbs up if u agree!

Schecter , Agile and LTD I swear the Korean made models are all made in the same factory. Or one ghost builds for the other, whatever the case great guitars, the Jeff Loomis 7 string V they really should have hired a graphic designer for it. But glad to see everyone who viewed this video have taste in guitars outside Gibson and Fender.

@crazymike1706 I'll give you a thumbs up to that! I've owned a lot of guitars and so far the only guitars that seem worth it around 1000$ price tag are Jackson , haven't played a recent BC Rich and all Ibanez seem a little too similar but Jackson go above and beyond. Schecter does parts wise as well, who else had coil taps and so forth in 2008 or 2009 on production models.

I own guitars from Fernandes,B.C. Rich,Jackson,Fender,Peavey,ESP­,Kramer and have played several others.But my three Schecters that I own are the one's I play the most-especially my Hellraiser but even my C-1 and C-1+ play,feel and sound awesome.I have heard of problems with Schecter but have not seen one yet personally-thanks TK for the vid of my favorite guitar company.

@taxo I never downloaded the catalogue, I bought from Dealers in American had them shipped over dude. I had them make sure both were exactly the same spec and luckily the one I bought in 20120 was a limited run so they kind of HAD to make them perfect. But still saying all this wouldn't put me off buying another one...I just think the price and build quality is too good to pass up on! :P

@MrJonzii94 Mine was a limited run,deep sea green hellraiser c1 model,2009 made.Awesome instrument,but the electic vain was a mess,with pieces of wood coming from the cables's hole and the cavity badly painted overall.I fixed the problem,but it's unpleasant,since LTDs don't usually have issues like this,but cost the same(and are made in the same factory).Too bad,also considering that in UE a hellraiser costs 900-1000€ not much less than a RAN or a Mayones Setius,which are custom made

@Woofspl Sure!Recently schecter's quality has decreased,but the price we are paying for their guitars it's always the same.Ebony fretboards look like rosewood one (not even dyed fb), frets cutted wrong or not crowned,finish issues,floyd rose bridges not working properly and so one.This is NOT what we all want from schecter,definitely

@Janesch once upon a time....schecter used to make awesome guitars without any imperfection,and all the pieces with even minimum scratches were put to a Bstock (tim mauery yoused to sell them).Now they are more like a hit-or-miss brand,causa many many many customers felt disappointed for what they got
