I went to Oktoberfest 2001 and we got there at 11am. We got in the Lowenbrau and HackerPschorr tents and they were already pretty damn full. We only stayed a few hours but it was sweet.

To be honest, I find it very strange that I have never been to the Oktoberfest. I have lived in Nuremberg for over five years and have opportunities aplenty but it the end, it just hasn't happened. And it's not as if I don't drink beer or don't like these kinds of events (not that we have anything of this magnitude in Franken, of course). The video gives a good taste of what I've missed. Good work! Next year! (Maybe).

We did use to have the Top Spin ride but they stopped bringing it. Too many people complained bout it and such it sucked

Our fair here seriously has one little beer stand, you get an 8 ounce cup of ...gag... Miller Lite...gag again... For like six bucks. Ridiculous. I swear. The stuff looks like pee water. Kinda tastes like it, too. So on second thought, there is no real beer there at all.

Thanks for posting this, it was fun just watching.

So now I don't feel bad that on my one visit to the Oktoberfest it seemed like we were going to leave without ever having any beer. It definitely helps to be female, young and pretty when scouting around for a place to sit. We eventually sent my wife and my brother's wife out to scout for seats and then surprised our tablemates when my brother and I joined them. (chuckle chuckle) aloha :)

You know when my cousin gave me the gun... it was so heavy I kinda dropped it on the bar of that stand, and it was aiming on the face of one of the guys behind it, and I didn't even notice!! So he looked at me like this O_O and locked it LOL

But after that little incident everything was alright^^
