  • lol "well everything looks like back to normal" and the americle flag rises! this game is so full of win! :D

  • "Do the Sharks ever have a winning season?" Not with big Joe they won't!

  • Ever since playing this game as a kid, everytime I see those orange and white striped road construction barrels...I call them day of the tentacles to this day. Because of the part where he wraps himself in the American flag looked like those construction barrels to me. No one knows what I'm talking about., I'm used to it. Lol.

  • I've beaten this game plenty of times and this is the 1st time I noticed that one of the dialogue options is 'It makes my headS hurt". How embarassing.

  • Best ending ever. :)

  • This was without a doubt my favorite game on the PC, until Doom, that is.

  • this game is a piece of art..

  • 8:37

I only saw Max, where was sam?

  • 6:28 What was THAT?

  • It's Laverne screaming because presumably Hoagie cops a feel while they're trying to get out of the T-shirt.

  • I absolutely loved this and of course, my only complaint is that it didn't have alternate endings like Maniac Mansion, those were awesome...and why isn't Dr. Fred blue?

  • I think The Edisons were only blue skinned in the NES and maybe one or two other versions of the first Maniac Mansion game. I think he had "regular" coloured skin in other versions. I prefer him with blue skin, myself. I've never played DotT but something about it puts me off. It may be the art style or the overly cartoony approach or it could be that none of the original kids other than Bernard appear and I don't like the 2 new ones. I'm sure it's a great game but I'll stick with the first MM.

  • It's off-putting at first because there's so many locations and items you just get overwhelmed. But once you get into the spirit of the game, it really is brilliant. A little short, though- which is why Monkey Island is better. Maniac Mansion is just too dated now; I just can't play it (I hate having to select what is"What Is" just to see what's under my cursor).

  • Gotta love the music in the game :)

  • Cripes, I miss the glory days of LucasArts and Adventure games in general.

I wish I could see Old Purple Tentacle make good on his little threat...

  • Wow, I would never have got this far...

Still, one of the best puzzle games on the PC ever!

  • i downloaded this as an iso. file and burned it to a disc from the free version of limewire, then played it on scumm; worked like a charm

  • You'll probably need either DOSbox or ScummVM to make it work, but both programs are fairly simple to use. It works like a charm on either emulator.

  • where can you download this game?

  • One of the best games ever made for PC.

  • i guess it depends on the computer maybe? last time i tried it i think i had windows xp and it ran fine, but who knows!

  • love it, i had this years ago, now have it back again! bliss

  • how can this game be played in a new computer?

  • easy! all computers have keyboards, i have this game at home such fun!

  • I think it doesn't run in new operative systems does it? I have the original cd, but I treid once And it wouldn't run

  • this was such a great game, still stands the test of time...i'd play it now. i spent so many hours of my chilhood on this, sam and max hit the road, rouge squad and indiana jones atlantis

  • propper classic, gotta love this game, i never did complete it though :(

  • Gah, the old lucas arts games were epic.

  • I loved this game :-)

  • dudddddddddeee i was hooked on this game when i was little

  • oh jeez ive never heard the talking version of this, when i played it was text only, btw if you've played psychonauts the you notice benard not only sounds like fred bonapart, he also looks like a sensor.

  • very good game, good humor, good graphisms and good musics

  • The best game ever.

  • one of the funniest games ever

  • classic game, I remember 7 x 3,5" discs
