  • Ahhhh......Hong Kong, my home. Sometimes annoyed by it (like the heat and the crowds), sometimes excited by it (like the shopping and nightscene), sometimes pampered by it (like the unbeatable transport and convenience), but mostly really really proud of it!

  • I flew to Hong Kong in June : )

  • yo! im glad you like HK. im HK people

  • CX is nearly eaten by China airlines.....sosad. Star aillience is isolating CX

  • @calvin22082200 What are you babbling about? China airlines? The one in Taiwan? Tell me you're dreaming. CX is a PARTNER of Air China, mainland China's flag carrier. It's a partnership, not who's eating whom. CX has joined OneWorld, a rival of Star Alliance. Of course it can't be with Star Alliance. Do you mean to say the Star Alliance is isolating BA, QF and JL, too?? You obviously know very little about the airlines business. Read up on it before shooting off your mouth next time.

  • shut the fuck up u muther fuker yeah im being rule to u even im not from hong kong! fucking gay cunt

  • You are from HK. Look at the words you use.

  • lovely video

i am also going back to HK on the 31st Jan 09

this time as a visitor :)

    can't wait...

and yes CX is the bestt

  • Great video. I love both HK and CX, too. Can't wait for February 2009 when I'll back in HK for the third time, of course flown in by CX. :-)

  • Thanks so much for your great comment. I think HK and CX are great and can't wait for next visit!

  • I'm sorry I accidentally deleted the comment you put up asking me if I'm South Korean. Yes, I'm really South Korean. 네, 정말 한국인입니다~^^.

  • hope to see your plane video :D,i just came back from hong kong to singapore and i realyl love HK !!

  • lovely video i would say, i enjoyed it. being in the cathay family, we write about it, we promote it, we talk about it, and hearing that you appreciate our service and airline, it makes us proud. thank you. Cheers

by the way, saw some negative comment about the music, the music is very cathay pacific actually, theres certainly is a link to your vid. good job.

  • Dear lliilj,

It is such a pleasure to see the comments of those who liked my video.

It is even more pleasant to see that members of the Cathay family have responded to my video in a positive way.

Thanks so much for taking the time, it really does mean a lot to me.

The reason I actually chose the piece of music was because it was featured on many Cathay Pacific commercials.

    Once again, Thanks.

  • Yes, I agree with you guys

I took Cathay Pacific last year and the service on the plane was extremely in my standards, even better than China Airline.

The airplane that I rode on was a Boeing 747-400

  • As a CX flight attendant, hearing that you enjoyed your experience with Cathay and Hong Kong is also something that cheers up my day.

  • Wow! What an honor for a Cathay Pacific flight attendant to comment on my video! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. It really does mean a lot- especially since you're a Cathay flight attendant!

  • Well, I flew from LA, USA to HK with Cathay (I'm Mexican)and from HK-Bangkok Bangkok-Singapore, Bali-HK, HK-LA. Always in tourism class but I must say that was a lovely experience. I don't remember about knives (i went the summer after the tsunami)but since then, I've loves HK and Cathay too!! LOL And yes, I remember the little screens that (yes) are hidden under and beside the seats. The food was great. Great experiences!!!

  • Yes, I agree. Hong Kong and Cathay Pacific are a great team. I hope to fly Cathay Pacific sometime soon. Thank you for taking the time to comment!

  • I LUV CATAHY N HONG KONG

  • Me too~! Thanks for commenting!

  • Thank you for thinking that my home is Magic

  • You're welcome! It really is such an enchanting and dynamic city.

  • i flew cathay pacific when i went to hong kong also. the food was very good. lol

  • Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!

  • This Video sim to be old. Because in flight the cathay, they didn't have IFE on each seat. They installed it on every seat since 1999.

  • Also, they still have steel knife. Must be before 2001. But the scenery in Hong Kong is present.

  • This is a trip I took in the summer of 2007, as I said in the description. Also, I don't know if you saw the whole video or not, but the personal TVs were the stowable ones that could be found under the armrests (I think), and they had steel knives, because I flew business class. Thanks for the comment, anyways.

  • Ahh well done mate. Don't forget where the roots of the old Hong Kong colony came from, the Brits, so how appropriate you have Queen as your backup music. HK RULES!

  • Thank you, Ropagol, for your great comment! I appreciate it! Yes, I respect both Queen Elizabeth 2 and Queen Victoria very much, especially for making Hong Kong what it is today: a thriving, global city!

  • So what, if you look at the GDP of Hong Kong in 2008, it is the 8th higgest in the world. higger than U.K. So do Australia. Australia is just an English Prision Mainland. It is the Alpha city in the world. One of the top ten super city.

  • Your a goose mate. Money does not necessarily make a place great-go and live in the middle east or he US if money is what its all about. I love HK so I won't bag it out but as far as living standards go you and your family of 5 can have living on the 34th floor of an apartment in 80x80 meters and 7 million people on 1100 sq km and I'll stay in my 800x800 meters 4 bedroom house by the sea on 7.7 million sq km with 20million of my mates thank you very much!

  • what kind of music do you suggest?

  • What a total looser that idiot must be. Nice video and good music too. Ive been lucky enough to go to Hong Kong a few years ago and flew on Cathay Pacific. Hong Kong is an amazing place and cathay pacific are fantastic

  • Thank you so much for your benign comment on the video! Yes, indeed, Hong Kong is such an enchanting place. Together, HK and CX make such a great team. I've been to HK two times (both on CX), but everytime I visit, it just makes me want to go back again, and again.

  • I've never understood youtube trolls. If you didn't like the video, don't watch! So easy. On another note, SIATO, thanks for the vid, It makes me even more excited to be off to HK for study abroad in december.

  • Thank you, Tan2015, very much, for your supportive comment! Yes, Hong Kong is indeed a very exciting place. If it's your first visit, I think it's going to be even higher than your expectations (even if your expectations were high), and if you've been there already, you'll still be just as exhilirated! Thank you again, for your comment!

  • ok

you finally stood up for yourself

hmm... according to what i said,

    ok

although you can't lose your gay pride,

    i'll stop bothering you

  • It is very kind of you that you have decided to accept me and my different interests. However, I would very much appreciate it if you would stop calling me gay, because it is very unpleasant to hear it.

  • you are so gay that you actually deleted and blocked me

the music is so gay and you probably spend your time reading about airplanes and gay stuff like that. be a man.

    okay

    i think im bothering you

if you can get a video of someone to go on youtube that is gayer than you, ill stop bothering you

  • What is your problem with SIAtoSingapore. His travel videos are nice, you just can't appreciate nice music either. Its called music from the past......that doesn't make it gay. SIA, just ignore this ignorant fool.

  • wow. siato whatever, you are so gay for having someone else stand up for you. tsk tsk tsk

why don't i hear from YOU?

    huh?

    or will you say

Like i don't like want to like see you. Okay like totally. i can't wait to hear that

  • Thank you so much for supporting me sleevy. Yesterday, I found that a user had posted an offensive comment on my video. Criticizing the video and my appearance and calling it "low-life" or something like that. I replied to it, but then I thought that it's not worth it, so I removed my reply and the offensive comment and blocked the user. The user must have commented with a different ID

  • This guy is just a pain. He obviously has no life as he made a username just to insult you. He doesn't even realize that it is SIA to, not siato! lol, he'll pay for his troubles later...

  • Yes, well.. I can't think of any other way to deal with these types of people, other than to simply not care. My first attempt to do so failed, as this user made ANOTHER USER just to get to my video (since I blocked his real username) as you've mentioned, then insulted me for not caring about his rude comments. Well.. now that he's gone, I don't feel any need to even think about him anymore... just to make our lives happier!

  • Oh, and again, I appreciate how you stood up for me against the user. Thanks so much =)

  • Sleevy, again, thank you for helping me out. That was very generous of you.

  • Dear user, I am very sorry to hear that you did not like my video. However, there is not much I can do about it. Also, not that I'm saying it isn't okay to not like my videos, but I am not going to stop making my videos on your account. I like my videos and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. If you don't like my videos, fine. But please don't express it in such offensive ways.

  • Also, if you constructive criticism or disagreeing opinions, I'm cool with them, as long as you express them in a way that is not rude. In your comments however, they were expressed very inappropriately. This is the reason that I decided I did not want to deal with your comments, and removed it and blocked your other username.

  • A different interest is simply A DIFFERENCE, and you have to accept the differences that other people may have. Because this world is filled with a lot of different people. They have distinct characteristics and interests. You need to try to accept that. My interests are airlines, Hong Kong, and Singapore, to name a few. Please don't insult it. Accept as someone else's interest. Do I insult your intersts? No. So why is it that you want to do this to me?

  • Just try to accept others' interests and differences. If you don't like them, don't comment about them rudely and inappropriately in front of the person who has those interests. Good-natured criticism presented to the person politely, is fine. If you give me these kinds of criticisms, although it will be hard, I'll try my best to take them, or at least accept them as a part of my video comments.

  • However, if you choose to disturb me in this rude, inappropriate manner again, I will decide it is no use trying to deal with your rudeness, and remove any offensive comments. They are not welcome in my video. So please, let's be respectful of each other. If you show respect for me and my interests, I will also show the same amount of respect to you. I will readily respect you (and I want to), as long as you respect me.

  • Great vid again! I see your vid. quality is improving! I like CX a lot too, just think they could improve their silverware in J class and need some new regional seats, they're new long-haul J is a bit iffy but they're still one of my favs! And yes, HK was like magic, I like the buzz of the city. Food's good but I think Singapore's is better with all the different cultures :P. But HK's light shows were amazing and I loved victoria peak! The tram ride was def. "interesting" lol

  • Thanks for wathcing! I really appreciate it! Yes .. I like Hong Kong just as much I like Singapore.. They're both just really great cities... Yeah.. and I agree that SIA provides higher quality service.. but.. I still like Cathay Pacific no less than SIA... Agian, both fantastic airlines!

  • Yeah, CX is a really nice airline too. I took them on a trip from Xiamen-Singapore via HK and the green tea was amazing lol! How many airline have you been on? I"ve been on SIA, MAS, Thai, Cathay, Xiamen Airlines, Dragonair, Qantas, Northwest, UA, Delta, and Jetblue.

  • I'm so sorry I couldn't reply directly. Um.. I've been on United, Cathay, Singapore Airlines, Aloha, Korean Air, Japan Airlines, Air France, ATA, Asiana Airlines, Qantas, Canadian Airlines, Cebu Pacific....

  • I went to HK a couple of weeks ago. I loved it! I also went Singapore and KL. It was great. Check out my vids for the HK firework display. I would recommend HK to anyone!

  • Thank you so much for your kind reply! Yes, I too enjoyed Hong Kong so much... It is an enchanting city indeed..
