Amazing creatures. Such animals destroy evolutionism> Evolution theory cannot begin to provide an explaination for such creatures. God is truly amazing.
And this is a typical creationists argument, point to something and say "explain it!" and if they cannot give a 100 percent explanation than they declare "God did it!".
Amazing creatures. Such animals destroy evolutionism> Evolution theory cannot begin to provide an explaination for such creatures. God is truly amazing.
They said the same things about rainbows and yet here we are with an understanding of their physical properties. The believe you hold that use god did it as an explanation is comparable to the Greeks point to the sun going around the earth and stating "God did it".
You really dont understand evolution do you..as in at all. Are you one of those people that think evolution is about chance? It is the exact opposite of chance, natural selection (the backbone of evolution) perfectly explains every single aspect of cuttlefish.
Let me guess, dinosaurs are just a huge consipracy made up by scientists and never actually existed and thus dont contradict genesis right? And its perfectly possible for plants to function before the sun right? Photosynthesis is a lie?
The science of statistical anaylsis demonstrates that the odds of a single medium-sized protien coming to be by natural molecular interactions is 10^950. That's a ration of 1 to a number greater than all of the particles of matter in the known universe. This is, according to science, impossible times impossible times impossible.
Why is it logical to belive the impossible has happened countless thousands of times for each of the families of living organisms in this world?
Are you asserting that proteins come about through random molecular interactions?! If so then you are denying the existence of DNA.
Please tell me EXACTLY how you came up with that figure?
the 'probability calculations' you are attempting to bring up is fairly common amoungst creationists and are always based upon assumptions that are either never stated so as to avoid having their validity subject to critical scrutiny, or when those assumptions ARE stated they are found to be based upon well
There is no assumption involved. The balance of the forces (electron force, gravity, proton force, etc) are so perfect that if any were different by one billionth of one billionth, the universe as we know it and life wouldn't exist. That's order, design, and purpose. Evos claim the universe came into this perfect balance because of a big explosion (which creates chaos, not order) when mathematics demonstrates that would be impossible. Since science verifies this is impossible, it is impossible
You have just copy pasted another text you did not write yourself, it has zero relevance to my comment to you,do you have no understanding of this topic at all? That is the exact same piece you copy pasted earlier on too.
Adress my points before going off on unrelated tangents,if you have no rebutals to mine then perhaps you should think a little about your position huh? If you are going to respond then respond to MY points WITH YOUR OWN WORDS, rather than just copy pasting irrelevant sillyness
I did write what I posted. Calling AMeyers work debunked means nothing. You can believe that so long as you are able to demonstrate his work is incorrect. So long as you are unable your statement is worthless.
@NephilimFree You're completely wrong. The theory of evolution says nothing about how the universe or earth came about.
The mere fact that there are humans on earth and not on billions of other plants shows that it's mere luck. It's basically statistically impossible for atoms to get together perfectly in order to form a pebble or a grain of sand, yet I'm sure you've seen lots of those at the beach, haven't you?
God, purpose and "design" have nothing to do with it.
I didn't come up with the figure. Mathematician/Philosopher William A. Dembski did.
Statistical Anlysis is a filed of science unto itself, and is commonly used in various fields of science to determine actions needed to be taken or avoided by predicting outcome.
Do you believe man's DNA is 90+% similar to man's? You believe this is evidence of evolution, don't you? Well, the same science and criteria by which you put faith in the statistical analysis of those things, demonstrates to us that protiens cannot form naturally.
But you don't like that math, so it's got to be false. What is different about you than any other evolutionist? I see no difference.
@TheScienceFoundation All of them. Even those which arise are based upon the design of extant protiens. The science of statistical anaylsis demonstrates that the odds of a single medium-sized protien coming to be by natural molecular interactions is 10^950. That's a ration of 1 to a number greater than all of the particles of matter in the known universe. This is, according to science, impossible times impossible times impossible. CYA
@NephilimFree So what non-natural mechanism has any protein ever come about by? Are you saying that dehydration synthesis is supernatural? If so, what data is that based on?
known fallacies. If you are going to post nonsense about 'probability' supposedly 'refuting' evolution or abiogenesis, virtually all of which arises from the same tired previously debunked sources (im going to guess yours was from Stephen Meyer or some other nut job from the Discovery Institute or AiG ?)then you are simply setting yourself up as a target for well deserved ridicule.

You don't even understand basic logic, pointing to something and saying we don't understand it therefore god did it isn't an argument.

some things we do understand and that is why we believe god did it,
such as the immeasurable fine tuning of the universe to support life.
