@Peterhabenichts It sounds like you were in a very Christian area (or house) in America. America is a very large, very diverse country. Some places may be dirty (particularly areas with greater government dependency) but not where I live. In Germany, I met harsh people and very wonderful people. If you would like try America again, I can recommend some different areas for you.
@groam6666 Sorry if that's your personal experience, nevertheless your personal experience can in no way be a general calssification. I've been living in Germany for more than 2 decades and have never encountered any rudeness. It's probably because Germans don't like white-lies-talk and are a lot more straight forward than others and those not used to this call it unfriendly and rude not realizing that they're using completely wrong measurements..

Lol, having lived in Germany for 10 years, I can confidently say that friendliness and interactive care is not the norm. I'm not arguing against the standard of care, but Germans are very rude to be quite frank.
@groam6666 Well as a german, our stereotype from america is that people are incredibly friendly but not very honest in that. Its by far not as bad as in asia, where people smile in your face and you still don't know if they actually hate you but i guess we can be very strict and prefer honesty.
